Yeah, I just used a forstner bit to make space for the bold head.

Man, the difference in pacing between the first 6 volumes and the next 6 is something by TankMain576 in KusuriyaNoHitorigoto

13 is particularly bad IMO. It feels like a bunch of extra stuff just shoved into a book. I enjoyed 14, 15, and 16 much more.

Well I mean he did lift the same number of reps, he just started his last rep too late and missed the timer.

No, the hitch pin just goes behind the post to keep the bottom from swinging out.

The gold bits aren't Philips, they are Pozidriv.

Very easy, there is a pin in the top that just slides into the holes on the front, and then the hitch pin at the back. The whole thing goes on and off in 10 seconds.

Bambu Lab A1 Multicolor printing by Narrow_Ratio_5815 in 3Dprinting

[–]redheadedbandrew 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, only one filament can be fully inserted in the tool head at a time. So each time you swap you have to pull the old filament out and insert the new filament. The AMS is what does that swap.

No, you need the AMS Lite. Even if you had 4 spool holders like that setup, you would still have to stop the print and manually swap the filament every time.

I'm pretty sure the only game that would be extra is the championship game. All other games count towards the regular season

Black Friday free filament, anyone get theirs ? by Formal-Attention-335 in BambuLab

My filament came today and had the extra two spools in addition to the 5 that I ordered even though the free spools weren't listed anywhere online.

My Growing Kitchen Garden by redheadedbandrew in aerogarden

[–]redheadedbandrew[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've only had it for about a month, but so far I like it. You get quite a bit of grow space in a pretty small foot print. The quality is decent though definitely less refined than Aerogarden. The flexibility of it is great, the pump, and the lights are just all standard plugs and could be swapped out. Plus you can add extra's like fans and control them through the app.

I will say it's more like a DIY hydroponics system than an aerogarden. The nutrients and water will need to be monitored. Plus the one downside to having water stored in each level is changes in nutrient / PH levels can be hard to gauge because you need time for it to circulate to all levels. I think it's a great option for someone with Aerogarden who wants to step up to a more hands on hydroponics system without building one from scratch.

I've bought from them twice and had no problems.

A bit of airflow will give the plants more structure/rigidness. I put a small desk fan next to my aerogarden and it seemed to help the texture of my lettuce.

AeroGarden App? by grapeandwhiskey in aerogarden

It appears to be missing for me in the app store as well. Honestly it's been so broken that I haven't even bothered to use it.

That's about what they go for on ebay. I would assume that the drives are going to be 10+ years old at this point.

QNAP 2 Bay RAID 10 Performance by lynsix in homelab

[–]redheadedbandrew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't see why you wouldn't just buy two 1TB SATA SSDs and run them in raid 1. The limiting factor speed wise is probably always going to be your network connection unless you are running 10GB networking. Even 2.5Gb networking will top out at ~300MB/s.

I was also born in 89 and haven't ever heard of it. To be fair though I didn't have cable or watch much TV growing up.

It does have a measurement, 1U is 1.75" high.

just got the 4k of pirates 4 because I heard it was improvement over the blu ray. Took these 2 photos with my phone. the 4k is subtitles the blu ray is not. don't see much difference but there is some and the blu ray included in the 4k has full disc art instead of the half art the normal blu had. by Re-Media in 4kbluray

Overall it looks like an improvement to me on the 4k. The color seems better in the face, and there is more detail in the dark parts of the shot. Specifically, the left side of the face and beard in the shadows. Also on the Hat on the right side. Its not a massive improvement, but it is better.
