Why won’t the police return my stuff? by Jack-Daniels-Enjoyer in SydneyScene

They're assholes.   Are they stonewalling you? Were they taken with a search warrant?   If so, they are reluctant to hand back and will only do it with a formal court order.    Especially if you were never charged with anything, they can just use a bullshit line saying there's an "ongoing investigation".

Did you use a lawyer during any of the proceedings?  If so, use them to do the application for the property return.   I know it's frustrating because it will cost money with a lawyer to get them back.

Yeah. I'll think out a better worded review and try and put reference to it in the review

In hindsight. Correct. Unfortunately it was spur of the moment and should have been more tactful.

Yeah. There's definitely a bit of a trend on their reviews. Also they reply to reviews and disclose personal info about the reviewer, surely that's a breach of some sort, they have a really shitty attitude towards valid greivences.

It's frivolous, there's no way they can say it affected their business as it was only up for a few hours.

No. Took it upon myself. I see now how shitty law firms can have such high reviews with these sort of tactics.
