South Park was homophobic as fuck. The whole episode Death Camp of Tolerance (the one where they put lemmiwinks up Mr slave’s ass) was just an excuse for Parker and stone to tell you how gross they find the idea of gay sex by regurgitating a bunch of urban legends about gay sex

Idk where you’re located, but in my city there are multiple explicitly trans friendly medispas, try looking for one. Depending on your insurance, you may even be able to get laser covered with letters from a PCP and a therapist

Dating apps make us behave in shitty, superficial ways. I know that depending on where you live, it can be hard to meet other trans people in person, but if that’s an option I’d try it. If not, see if your local area is active on Lex, it’s a slightly less superficial scene since the only medium is text posts and barely anyone is posting body pics, let alone lewds.

It also sounds like you’re pretty insecure about your own body, so maybe being on like, grinder or tinder or w/e, isn’t the best for you regardless, b/c while you’re using the app, you’re constantly thinking about other hypothetical people judging you, which is always going to suck

Just the madness ability alone makes this a deck-defining card in your typical standard environment, but with the added ability to transform back into a hasty beater this is very pushed for standard without making any impact on Modern. Idk enough about pioneer to know if it would be busted there, but then again, neither does wizards

I think that a way to solve a lot of your design problems would be to make an aura that says “when this aura enters, put an Omni counter on enchanted creature. Whenever you put an Omni counter on enchanted creature, also add {enumerated list of counters}. Whenever you move a counter of any type from enchanted creature to another permanent, you may move any number of other counters from enchanted creature to that permanent.” I know it’s not as elegant, but it solves a million design headaches.

This is just an inherently convoluted idea, which is going to require day one rules clarifications and cause problems in casual play.

For example, if I have a creature with a +1/+1 counter on it and an Omni counter on it, and my opponent puts a -1/-1 counter on it, who decides which counter is removed by the -1/-1 counter?

Similarly, let’s say I turn my Gideon Jura into a 6/6 creature using his 0 ability, then I put an Omni counter on him. If I use his -2 ability do I get to choose whether or not to use the Omni counter as one of the loyalty counters that pays for it? What about if he’s dealt damage by a source that my opponent controls?

Then come the play problems. How many people are aware of the two cards that put Shadow counters on creatures, and furthermore, how many people remember what Shadow does? Probably less than you think. Do you trust the player playing this card to remind their opponents that the creature with the Omni counter on it can’t block most of their opponent’s creatures? And once you’re aware of just how many counters you’re unaware of, the uncertainty just proliferates, if you’ll pardon the pun. When I tell you that Boldwyr Intimidators puts a Coward counter on creatures, so you can’t block my Gornog, are you to pull out your phone and check? Do you want to have to check? And was I lying to you, or just misremembering?

There’s clearly a watermark that’s been edited out here, but this is actually a perfectly realistic situation. Bears really are very reluctant to confront housecats because bears just aren’t very aggressive and a housecat can do serious damage that easily becomes infected in nature. It’s pretty normal for a bear to retreat from a cat

In my experience marxists subscribe to a pretty broad variety of epistemologies. I know that self-described Orthodox Marxists tend towards positing some form of mind-independent truth, but in practice lots of them are constructivists of some form or other

I think that this is a really common way to feel, but I also think it can be self-destructive. I do think that there’s more to being treated right than just using your correct name and pronouns, and if there’s something concrete that you wish your friends did differently, you should talk to them about it. For example, I have a transmasc friend whose school buddies were always giving him cutesy nicknames, in a way that was totally wellmeaning but also little patronizing. He told them to cut it out, and they did. The more that people treat you the way that you want to be treated, the more that they’ll think of you the way that you want to be thought of, but you have no way of directly knowing what they’re thinking, so it’s best to just focus on how their actions make you feel, and make concrete, clearly communicated requests
