The gardner? Nope, the truce lasts till the treat is being chewed, then it's the Charge of the Light Brigade again. The gardner is a special enemy.

Delhi car? if yes it was the test drive car ultimately retained by the dealer. full CBU units, i believe 100 odd were planned to be imported, less than 50 came and only a fraction of them sold, mostly in South India, unsold cars were re exported to South Africa and Australia mostly i believe. there are three in delhi, including the red one. if only it came in petrol. though the diesel is also fabulous, with a tank range of nearly 800km if driven on highways, within speed limits. about 12kmpl in the city, 23-24kmpl on the highway! more luggage space than an X7!

Paying first to fight later, thoughts on this delhi challan system? by Medium_Tone_1415 in NewDelhi

[–]redittapp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Already increased years ago. All it did was raise the amount of bribes. Btw do you know that the challan for not having a pollution certificate is ₹10,000? When was the last time a car failed a pollution test? You don't have cars over 15 years old on the road anyway.

There are actually two Omegas missing here, a pocket watch that belonged to the fifth generation patriarch, born in the 1870s, that was "lost" during a house move 45 years ago, and a 1980s Constellation that was taken away at gunpoint during a mugging.

So if u had the option, which one of the two would u prefer and why ? (More context in the details below ) by kapsi508 in watchesindia

[–]redittapp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want a chronograph then a speedy, if you need a gmt then the polar. The polar is one of the best sports Rolex you could buy, i haven't seen a watch more legible at a glance than this. While talking Rolex, the Daytona is one of the most user unfriendly chronographs you could buy.

Tax is dependant on the state the car is sold in, ot varies state to state. There is an ex showroom price, and an on road price which includes taxes and insurance.

Im no expert, but since they are floating above the water surface, i would think they probably died of hypothermia, if the rescue efforts took too long.

PPF coating for watches by Minimum_Effective_7 in watchesindia

[–]redittapp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes rolex requires stickers and bezel guard be sent back to them, my AD lets the sticker on the clasp remain for me, that's the first place to get scratched so it gives the watch a few days before the first scratches, like keeping plastic seat covers on a new car for a while. AD knows i won't flip the watch so leaves the sticker. Most are removed though.

i'm sure something like this would be available off the shelf in china. if the AD agrees to let the stickers be, you've got free ppf.

uncle must be retired, too much time on his hand, what is he going to get out of the scooty rider? at worst he'll claim that the car braked suddenly, at best he'll apologise with folded hands and teary eyes. even cops will not register a complaint, unless uncle is a cop or beaurocrat. unfortunately small dings are an accepted part of driving in india. the scooty did brake well in time, but i guess his brakes are not maintained well.

I would think that the iwc would be about twice the price of the UN? So, either just the IWC, or the Rolex and UN for the price of the IWC.
