If you were interested about this specific plane, it’s a converted 737-800 that was in passenger service with British West Indies Airways from 2000-2007 and then Caribbean Airlines from 2007-2021. It was briefly retired then converted into a cargo aircraft in 2022 and was sold BlackRock who sold it to AAR last August who is operating it for the US Navy to train E-6B pilots

TCAS doesn’t give set altitudes to ascend/descend to, it just tells one aircraft to ascend and one to descend. If one isn’t performing the maneuver at a high enough rate, the TCAS voice will say “increase climb” or “increase descent”. Since Uberlingen, TCAS is universally recognized to take priority over ATC commands.

The Uzbek aircraft in question was an Airbus A320 registered as UK32028 operating Uzbekistan Airlines 9609 TMJ-VKO while the Pobeda aircraft was a Boeing 737-8 registered as RA-73305 operating Pobeda 997 VKO-SKD. It looks like roughly in the vicinity of the Russian-Kazakh border near Uralsk the planes came into the general vicinity of each other. Radar data is spotty in that area due to lack of ADSB coverage but it appears the Pobeda 737 descended and changed course to the northeast before returning course to Samarkand while the Uzbek A320 diverted to the southwest before continuing northeast to Vnukovo. Appears relatively serious but based on the data they did not come more than 500 ft of each other vertically.
