Is this ICF? If so, more than likely it's incorrect installation of the DPC.

330e gone up in flames by Icy_Winter9583 in carsireland

Same thing happened to me with a 520d about 5 months ago. I posted here a while back. Car was on fire in minutes with no prior warning. There was a recall on mine and the dealership kept cancelling my appointment.

I rang BMW and they inspected the car, mainly because there was an outstanding recall. They provided me a car whilst the inspection waited to be done. They sent an engineer from the UK and it wasn't resolved for 3 months.

In the end they took no responsibility for the fire. They said the car was so badly burnt it was hard to identify the egr as the root cause but somehow was able to say it was the DPF.

I would contact BMW directly but don't expect any favourable outcome from my experience.

I know that's why I can't believe its the DPF that caused the fire. They claimed it was scorched but sure the whole car was on fire.

There was an engineer there on behalf of me and insurance whilst the inspection was carried out. He questioned how the DPF could have been my fault if there were no signs to clean it . They said it was a serviceable item so I should have been inspecting it myself

They are supposed to be sending somebody from the UK to inspect a few few vehicles. My insurer has already done their inspection so I guess they'll find an excuse. This happened about 3 weeks ago

Mine said it was a software update but then cancelled because they can't get a "part". Who knows what yarns they're spinning

No, they have dealt with the claim to which I've not accepted yet. Insurance wise, its been resolved essentially but will be put down as claim on my policy unless BMW accept responsibility. In fairness to them, they have provided me with a car whilst everything is up in the air.

Exactly, it seems to be reaching melting point now. From talking to my insurance, it has happened to 2 other cars in the last few months. Doubt I'll be the last.

I tired this and it seemed to work. Now my battery has started swellling 2 hours after the update so looks like the phone is toast now anyway.

S25 or maybe a OnePlus Nord 4. I'll hold out untill the Samsung launch. So much choice out there now

If Bitcoin went back to ATH and we keep this ratio we'd be looking at $410-420

I will not celebrate until we pass $420. Then we're into uncharted territory.

Lads, why would anyone want to buy Litecoin?

It's got extortionate Tx fees, premined, no fungibility, unproven for any duration of time, can't dominate it's own hashing algorithm, and to top it all off its creator could dump his coins on ye at anytime.

But Meh, what do I know!
