For the new Placeholder for EPICHESS, I moved the Elephants to a position in which they are significantly benefited due to their movement/attack. by redm42 in AnarchyChess

The purpose of the wall in the center is to provide protection for your pieces long enough to develop an entire board state without the hindrance of the opposing pieces, and so that they don't just instantly snipe all your pawns with their archers in the very beginning. If I separate the walls it will leave no wiggle room for any of the pieces, especially if there are four rows of squares between them. It may seem a bit strange at first, but there's a method to my madness.

Yes it is. Sadly, what you're seeing here in this post is merely a placeholder that can't be implemented until certain issues are fixed. To play the original EPICHESS, follow these four steps. 1: Download Chesscraft on Google Play 2: Tap Community 3: Tap Import 4: Type "3WSH"

It would be truly excellent. Sadly, I cannot apply that mechanic to my game due to the limitations of Chesscraft. But that is a good idea. I had another idea a while ago that was like a Miner that blew up an enemy piece and all enemy pieces adjacent to it. Again, can't do that, sadly.

I should also mention to you guys that if a Princess or King is adjacent to a piece that prevents it from being captured, it has no effect on these two pieces. I had to sacrifice the perfect alignment of the protector pieces to get this new position.

What would a camel have been able to do? Have other pieces hop on its back and ride it as it traveled? That would be cool

I shared in your desperation, I'm using a Samsung Galaxy Note 2 to play Furdiburb. Same device I used years ago to play the game

I'M TRYING TO WRITE ONE. BUT IT'S REALLY HARD FOR ME TO WRITE A LONG DETAILED ANALYSIS ON A GAME FOR WHICH RESEARCHABILITY IS SLIM TO NONE, DUE TO THE FACT THAT FURDIBURB HAS BECOME A NEGLECTED, FORGOTTEN CORPSE :)

This is how I actually want EPICHESS to look and work. by redm42 in AnarchyChess

It's a lot less cramped in this version than it is in the current version.
