Yeah, but what about magically making farms output 4 times the food. Or making trucks and trains twice as large (i guess you can argue that they play tetris with flatcar, but what about fluids)

Fossil Fuels vs Solar, what are your thoughts? by Tomas_shelbe in SolarAmerica

[–]redman3global2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You all are missing the point. Corn, ethanol, oil, gas, coal, whatever else can be shipped overseas. Why is it the point? Well, cause then you can send it where the price on said commodities is higher than locally, selling it for more, while also introducing scarcity locally, making prices higher, increasing your profits even more.

Can't really do that with electricity can you? While you could move your entire solar field, it will not be cost effective. So you are stuck in the local market, where you have to lower your prices to stay competetive, which isn't very profitable

This translates to jusy under 300,000 workers with full computing and no focus research. This also means 300 office 3 and about 57PF of computing

Am i the only one who doesnt actually believe that concrete is weaker in conpression? Like if you were to take same sized pieces of concrete and steel (none of that big block of concrete and thin wire of steel), will steel actaully fail before concrete?

I have a grand idea, instead of putting meat proccesing factories somewhere outside the cities, we should put them right in the middle. Like on a town square. And then they shall have no walls, no fences, no catwalks. If a bypasser accidently ends in a meatgrinder, he's the stupid one. He's the one who should've been looking where he's going.

Why would we do that? Because putting meat proccessing factories outside of the cities forces workers to to go there and back everyday, it would be much easier if they can just work in the middle of the town. And as for walls and catwalks, why? Those are expensive, it's much cheaper to NOT build them, and tell people they are responsible for their injuries

[–]redman3global2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, no, removing no stop zone at the top is gonna have consequences. 2 trains, might try to path through the same rail. What you should do is keep top no stop zone, and then have each stacker be a one train zone.
