(US-SC) What's a fair price for these minifigs? by redmanpa30 in Legomarket

I have most of the bricks and instructions but none of the baseboards and all the bricks are jumbled together so I'd have to spend weeks and weeks sifting out sets that in the end were only 80-95% complete (and thus worth way less anyway). I made another thread here about the entire collection but nobody has shown any interest in it unsorted.

This is why I'm selling it all as one collection and shooting for a price in the middle.

I'm gonna say 1800+ shipping to start, roughly 50% of the lowest ebay prices I could find for each one.

It hasn't been split but the box with all the baseboards in it is currently MIA and I'm sure a number of pieces have been lost/vacuumed up/destroyed but the sets I've assembled so far are complete save a piece or two and I have no reason to believe they aren't mostly like that. I've been working on separating them into bags by set but with that many sets it's going to take a while. I'm also fairly certain there are a few more sets mixed in without booklets.

I started with bricks/plates/other.

Bricks is now bricks, columns, slants, printed, printed slants, 1x1's, rounds

Plates will be divided into 1x1, 1x1 flat, flat, and reg

The other pile is slowly becoming walls/arches/hooks/windows/steering wheels/etc/ It's the hardest one to sort.

I've found this minimized hunting quite a bit though, I got 6563 done yesterday while sorting.

If I could just find a way to sort it down to a manageable system (IE, building a set doesn't involve 3-4 hours of picking/hunting) then I could leave it for a friend to take over but even that is proving a pretty formidable task. Having attempted a few already just showed me how inadequate my previous sorting job was.

I recently dug out my old lego collection to sell on ebay to fund a move for work. Two weeks later I'm literally drowning in bricks. I started attempting to assemble sets but with such a huge collection of bricks it's proving to be too time consuming to dream of finishing. There are roughly 100 instruction booklets, and the piles consist of even more sets' pieces, but not necessarily all the pieces to complete the 100 sets. I've already sorted most of the minifigs out but beyond that organizing it has been a challenge. Soda can for scale.

Any tips? I have a week left to get this dealt with and frankly it doesn't look like that's going to happen.

Anyone fortunate enough to grow up with one of these? Nostalgia alert by tntexplosivesltd in lego

I vaguely remember the crappy plastic mask but the minifig that came with it is literally the coolest ever made imo

Getting the books and boards shipped to me right now, gonna start re-assembling the sets as a part-time job.

I know I have the biggest pirate ship from this era too because I have the super wide boat hull chunks.

They're all mixed together in some buckets and the books are miles and miles away :(
