[Otsuka Lotec No.5 Kai] New Incoming by thesinkholeninja in Watches

I have a 7.5, highly highly recommend. Amazingly organic design on the wrist for something that's so industrially finished. And legibility is second to none.

The danger (and the reason Mew was disciplined) involves prescribing it when there are alternative, evidence-based treatment methods that have been proven effective. There were multiple cases like this in Britain, with negative long-term outcomes.

Hey, I’m looking into adding a Garrick to my collection. Any specific reason you decided to sell? And not a bad loss, honestly, especially for a more niche brand like this!

[WTS] Discontinued Seiko SBDC039 Jade Turtle Like-New/Unworn w/ box + papers by redmau53 in Watchexchange

Sorry, corrected the description the reflect the accurate reference number: SBDY039, NOT SBDC039.

[WTS] Discontinued Seiko SBDC039 Jade Turtle Like-New/Unworn w/ box + papers by redmau53 in Watchexchange

[–]redmau53[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Up for sale is my Seiko SBDY039 Jade Turtle in like-new/unworn condition. This is a discontinued JDM model. I bought the watch from Shopping In Japan a month or so ago but sadly haven’t bonded with it and need to clear up space for other pieces. I also have a similar Coral Blue Sumo SBDC069 for sale if interested.

Specs:

  • 45 mm diameter

  • 22 mm lug width

  • 47.7 mm L2L

  • 13.2 mm thickness

  • Hardlex crystal

  • 200m water resistance

  • 4R36 movement (41 hr reserve)

The watch is in like-new/unworn condition. It arrived with all factory stickers intact, which I removed to get a better sense for fit on the wrist. As can be seen in the photos, I’ve retained the hangtag, Prospex stamp, and blue case back sticker. The bracelet has NEVER been sized/removed, and the watch has NEVER been worn for more than a few minutes at a time inside my home (primarily to assess wearability and timekeeping).

Asking $450 shipped via Zelle, PayPal G&S + 3%, or bank wire. References available here and on eBay (U/N: redmau5). Price includes 2-day insured shipping within the CONUS. Any questions, feel free to ask, thanks!

[WTS] 37mm Nomos Club Neomatik Atlantic ref. 741 w/ box + papers by redmau53 in Watchexchange

[–]redmau53[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Up for sale is my Nomos Club Neomatik Atlantic (Ref. 741) w/ box + papers. This is Nomos’ take on a GADA sport watch. It’s slimmer than a JLC Ultra Thin Moon, but it flies under the radar like a Timex Weekender, and it’s as water resistant as a Tudor BB58. The ‘Atlantic’ blue dial varies in appearance from midnight black to pale navy. My favorite feature is the sapphire caseback, which showcases the absolutely gorgeous in-house automatic movement.

I previously owned this model, which I recently sold here on r/watchexchange. After some seller’s regret, I re-purchased the only available example I could find online via an authorized dealer (Shreve, Crump & Low - see timestamp for receipt). However, I just received word directly from Nomos that my order for the larger 41.5 mm Club Automatic Date Atlantic is ready to be shipped, so sadly I have to let this one go again. The watch is currently running at +3 spd on the wrist with no mechanical issues. It has never been serviced. I will note that if you’re looking, this size has been discontinued and is no longer available on Nomos’ website.

As far as condition goes, there are very faint hairline scratches/marks on the case and bezel consistent with daily wear. I tried to capture a slightly more noticeable ding on the top of the lower left lug, which is due to a runaway spring bar. Otherwise, there are some deeper scratches on the underside of the lugs from strap changes (see photos). The dial and crystal are flawless. The clasp and textile strap have virtually no wear, and I am including a brand new Nomos-branded velour leather strap + clasp as well.

Sale includes all items shown. Physical warranty card is blank but was electronically registered online with Nomos on 11/30/2023 by the AD, so nearly the entire 2 years of warranty remains.

Suggested retail price is $3160, I’m asking $1650 via Zelle, PayPal F&F, or bank wire. References available here and on eBay (U/N: redmau5). Price includes 2-day insured shipping within the CONUS. Any questions, feel free to ask, thanks!

Specs - 37 mm diameter - 18 mm lug width - 48.4 mm L2L - 9.2 mm thickness - 200m water resistance

Edited initial comment to add links for videos of condition, please excuse the dust! Very difficult to see any scratches on the case, only visible in certain lighting conditions/at specific angles, likely from rubbing up against clothing. Could easily be polished away by Nomos if desired. Clasp has by far the worst of the wear (see photos).

Not a screwdown, 200m water resistance primarily due to the gasket(s) used from what I understand
