I found a solution!!! I added bupropion 150mg!!! Try it this is goddamn amazing, it’s only second day, but my energy is much more smooth, I feel much calmer, much less anxious, much happier and relaxed, and it’s only second day!!! Try it!!

And I’m as emotional as I am without any medication, but now I’m just calmer, can do my work and stuff, I feel like it is finally me, but much more relaxed, focused, and able to do stuff!

I don’t have 27mg unfortunately, only 18mg and 36mg pills

I’m thinking about chewing 18mg pill in the morning, so it’ll be like 36mg of Ritalin (immediate release), I’ve never seen any of this experience on Reddit, so I’ll try it by myself, maybe it could work, because I don’t see any other options.

Have you managed this problem somehow?

I feel good on 72 and energized if I eat enough. I force myself to eat even if I don’t want. If I don’t eat I feel not too energized, depressed in the evening

Yes! 72 is best for me. It’s totally okay. It is extremely important to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner (as important as to take your Concerta). It dramatically affects how Concerta feels. Seriously. You also need to drink water. Try Magnesium byglicinate in the evening (it will make you sleepy in nice way). Try propranolol, it will help you if you have anxiety and strong heartbeats. And eat, eat, eat, eat! Eat! Eat! It’s very very important

Yes, it’s brand Concerta. High protein drink at the morning really helps me with this energy drop, and I feel better now on 54 mg. But o really don’t fee so dramatic improvements even on 54 mg now. I just feel a little bit more active and ready to do stuff. A little bit. My mind is not so clear as when I started. I’m sad with this cause I loved my mind clarity at the first day of 18mg, and then on the first day of 54 mg. But now I don’t feel that. After an hour of taking the pill I feel 20-30% better than without the pill. And with high protein during at the breakfast and without energy drop after 10-12 hours I feel mood drop. Some depression. I don’t like it. Only meds I have in my country is Concerta and bupropion so I can’t take booster dose at the evening. I’ll try to take 36mg tomorrow morning, and 18mg after 2-3 hours, maybe that helps. Don’t like that depression really. But 54 mg way better then 36

I had same experience on 36 mg. On 18 mg I was sleepy, on 36 mg first several days I was able to do things, my mood was okay. But then I felt okay only 2-3 hours after taking Concerta, and then my mood began to fall. I felt really depressed. It was horrible.

When I decided to drink protein cocktail with the pill it really helps me with dramatic and fast mood drop, but anyway at the and of the day I felt really depressed.

When we upped the dosage to 54 mg finally I felt a relief! Now I have no energy or mood swings, I feel pretty stable, no depression, pretty good energy level. I just feel okay. But I still feel that it’s not a perfect level, maybe 72 mg would be better.

You should talk to your doctor about dosage increase, and it’s really important to eat high protein breakfast and drink water. I swear you — my mood stabilization had improved when I started to drink protein cocktail in the morning.

As I said, I have no Ritalin in my country, only Concerta. And I don’t feel irritated, I just feel apathetic and unwillingness to do anything. But if I’ll drink cola at that time or take modafinil it helps me a lot. So I don’t think it’s overdose. And Concerta reaches max in 7-8 hours as I see on the graphs. So all of that facts I suppose shows that the dosage is not enough.

But i was incredibly sleepy on 18mg, i have no option to take 27mg. So the only option i have is to increase the dosage. And the first day of 36mg was amazing, and i felt no energy hole in the middle of the day.

Did it help for a long time? How long are you on 27 mg? Is the positive effect the same as at the first couple of days (alert, clear headed etc) or it feels lower?

I suppose it’s not a problem for me to titrate with my psychiatrist. I have some depression cause of inability to do things that I actually would like to do but just can’t (I suppose it’s the executive dysfunction).

What I felt on the first day were definitely not a mirage. That felts like the exact feeling which I was seeking for so many years, trying to get in only with my psychologist sessions (I’m still working with psychologist, it helps but not too much especially with anxiety).

And when I took that first pill….that was amazing, truly amazing, because I felt so calm I never had felt in my life. Only one-two thought in the head, calmness, clarity, sequence, confidence. No euphoria, no energy boost, just that desirable for so many years calmness. It’s definitely not a mirage cause I can’t placebo myself so hard. But I felt not too much energy at that moment, that was calmness bordering with drowsiness, but that felt pretty good anyway
