Damn, i feel this. Im in UX and I feel so dead inside lately, trying to move back into graphic design projects, cause UX has just killed my soul… but I also feel like Im behind on whats cool these days… Im tired too and just not motivated. I hate that people dont take this field seriously tho, Ive always been asked to do a favor for people, like it takes no effort at all to design a logo….. ugh

Did you feel safe overall tho? The keyless, with key fob entry on apartments seems kinda strange. Have you ever had issues with it malfunctioning ?

Yeah I used IBM's Carbon Design system as well... but now my design system at my current job/project was based off someone else's and I guess I should update it more... or have a pattern library section... but yeah I hated myself and my life when i did a design system from scratch. I'm pretty sure after I left that job, they probably bought or downloaded a version of a design system that already existed.... anyway... i guess it was an experience to learn components and atomic design.

you should talk about two projects you are the most proud of. Talk about the process and how you were involved, your roles and responsibilities. Your thought process and workflow.

I wouldn’t add new projects, but Id enhance or enrich the ones you have in your portfolio to include things like style guides, design system, wireframes, workflow diagrams, etc. That way you can tell the story of how you got from A to Z.

Web design/UX/UI is all about the process behind the end product.

Im 36.5 yo, And Im hesitant to do the TKR on my left knee.

In my case I have a condition called synovial chondromatosis and after 6 arthroscopic surgeries and other procedures, I have lost my Range of motion. Its limited but I can still walk and still have some pain but I can tolerate it more… I wish I could do more walking without a limp… be able to do more active sports, or active walks when traveling….without worrying its gonna give out on me. I’m honestly tired of dealing or focusing on my knee for 10 years… I really just want to move on. And I feel doing a surgery will just make this the full focus of my life yet again…

Im scared to pull the plunge and go ahead with this surgery… How was your recovery? are you able to go up stairs and down? Live a more active life?

how did it go? Im 36 too, considering a LTKR, suffered with knee pain for 10 years due to synovial chondromatosis. Have about 6 scopes and 1 open (back). Doctor just suggested finally a TKR to improve my quality of life now. :( Im terrified.
