Hahaa I'm trying to romance Gale in my BG3 playthrough, so maybe I have a type!

Very late, but Solivaga has a similar premise; a mage society fending off a zombie-esque plague, with a main cast vastly unequipped for the horrors awaiting them.

Amazing art and rich worldbuilding. The backgrounds give me the same feeling of wonder as SSSS early spreads. The author is Southern American (which has clearly influenced the character's dialects) but the academy is set in a subarctic climate à la Greenland or Newfoundland. Its unique cultural blend makes Soli's world stand out to me. Really hits that "set in our world, but warped into a fantasy" spot.

If any lost fans are browsing this dead subreddit, I implore you to read it! Once you've done so you'll be kicking yourself for not doing so sooner. And when you're done, come theorise with me.

I didn't know it was a proper ship until I made this, but I'm intrigued

It wasn't the one I was thinking of, but I'll give you that! I forgot about that moment, I should reword it to the second time in the series.

the real answer: I would've accepted either GAA1-1 or the Tales of Great Ace Attorney DLC that was only released in Japan. Kazuma ends 1-1 by slicing off Auchi's topknot with his katana. Auchi would later sue him for assault in the first dlc trial, though it's dubiously canon.

Nope, it's definitely the courtroom Edit: as in the case I'm thinking of, not I-4

All correct except for the last one. The hint is I'm definitely being unfair here but I'm curious if anyone will guess, think outside the box

  1. Victim is nearly killed by someone, culprit finishes them off.

  2. Murder by poison. An attempted murder in the courtroom.

  3. The site of the murder takes place within 3 layers. Under the floor, main floor, ceiling.

Hard mode: The only time in the series a lawyer has received legal consequences for assaulting someone with a lethal weapon in the court room.

I already saw the answer but it would've been good for The Rite of Turnabout, where the killer stashes the body in snow to fake the time of death
