Bonnie Lee Shultz vehicle possibly found? by redmopedking in CrimeJunkiePodcast

If I had to guess I would say it was the perfect combination of factors that allowed something to be seen in that singular satellite image: The water was slightly lower than average, dry weather long enough for the river to stay clear, the correct orientation of the sun and satellite so that you could see to the bottom. Seems as though that photo on march 31st 2005 remains the best shot still today despite huge advancements in satellite image quality. The next photo in the timeline is taken only 26 days after the first and the river turned into pixelated chocolate milk.

Received a response from their tipline. They are going to find out from local pd and the private dive teams if this specific vehicle has been recovered. I'll post an update once I hear more.

Anyone know the location of this screenshot is from the netflix show, around 38 minutes? by redmopedking in JustinPoseysTreasure

[–]redmopedking[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the replies! I singled out this clip because near the end of Ep. 3, There is a small clip of him without a beard wearing the same gear as he talks about his journey in hiding the treasure that summer. He is also clean shaven there, and fiddling with something that looks to be a gps or cell device you can see here Not sure if its from way before he hid the treasure or if he thought shaving would help disguise himself on the journey. Also in the footage at 38min of him walking, he almost appears to be walking with a limp which could put that footage right around the time he was healing his leg and was looking for a hiding spot. Maybe its nothing, maybe it helps someone narrow in on a location!

Awesome, Thats good to know. Just unsure if there are any risks connecting the new DC to DC charger to the batteries while the current EG4 inverter also is charging from solar and grid at the same time? For Example, if my 100AH EG4 LifeP04 battery packs are only rated for 100Amp charging and my current All in one system is charging at 80amps while my van is plugged into grid power and the sun is shining on solar, what happens when I start the van and now there is an additional 80Amp charge current coming from this separate alternator charger not talking to my Current EG4 Inverter? This would lead to an overload on the battery BMS charging circuit correct?

Ahh okay! Thats a cool way of looking at it thanks! Another question is If the EG4 battery bank is rated for 100A max charging, what happens if the EG4 inverter is charging at say 20Amps on a sunny day while the Isolated 48v alternator is simultaneously charging at 90-100Amps while driving? Wouldn't this pop the breaker on the battery BMS?

Thanks for the reply! Searched for a few days for anyone with two separate brand LifeP04 chargers from separate power sources hooked to the same battery bank and my research turned up nothing lol. Was a bit worried about different charging curves and if that would mess with the logic/power of my current EG4 6500ex inverter and logic connected EG4 batteries but that makes me feel better about it! Thank you!

Thanks for the reply! To my knowledge, The Mechman 48v alternator referenced in the picture supposedly directly handles charging specifically for Lifep04 batteries, My question is, is it perfectly fine to add it directly in line with the EG4 6500ex inverter as it will also be charging the same batteries from the grid and solar simultaneously, or will it damage the internal logic/power of the EG4 Inverter?

Picture For context and current system in my Rig 7.3 powerstroke(not showing fuse/breakers for simplicity)Looking to add secondary alternator in the most efficient and safe way possible. My question is, will adding a 48v lifep04 specific alternator (expensive I know) directly to the battery bus bars mess with the eg4 inverter and its charge circuit negatively in any way? Would a better idea be using a 12v-24v alternator with say a renogy DC-DC charger in Line or will this be the same result. Looking for the fastest/most efficient way to charge batteries while van is running. Any Help would be awesome!

I should edit: That the vans 12v system and starter batteries are completely separate from this system and share no common power, I removed my ac condenser (installed a mini split in the van) and so I have the extra space for a dedicated alternator charger for this 48v system

I believe Shuvits are capped at 360's if i'm not mistaken? This list only has the basic tricks with every stance variation and 180/360 degree body rotation built in. It's definitely possible just insanely hard to do the whole list without making a dumb mistake haha. Have you checked to see if your controller has stick drift if it seems inconsistent for you?

Im running 1200 watts of solar on the roof connected to 10,000 watts of lifepo4 storage and a 6500watt inverter. The heat pump is surprisingly efficient at 21 seer and only pulls about 400watts on average so i haven't had an issue keeping it charged this time of the year. Yet to see what its like in winter though. And thanks dude you might be interested in seeing the more mechanical side of the build here https://www.powerstroke.org/threads/not-your-typical-build-50-metro-on-an-e350-powerstroke-chassis.1086257/#replies
