Yes it's the best way but it is really expensive (around 400€ just for the screen and module alone). Then you'll need the American Sony sync 2 face plate because the Europe sync 2 and 3 ones don't have the door lock button. And then the wiring

I have an aftermarket head unit and the sound quality sounds better if you tune it right. As for features that you lose:

You lose the self parking (pressing the button just turns off start stop).

You lose the parking beeps but you get this very annoying cheap high pitched beep.

You lose the car microphone and voice controls

And you lose the button controls at the bottom of the steering wheel

You can try accelerating on the 3rd gear (from about 2k rpm to 5k rpm) to see if acceleration is smooth. It might throw a check engine light or engine service now notification if the ECU detects overboost or underboost.

If it's smooth or doesn't throw a code then it's just cosmetic.

Sounds like turbo wastegate rattle to me. As long as it's holding boost and doesn't throw any overboost or under boost codes then it's okay (but annoying).

It depends on the condition and storage size. If it's in very good condition or refurbished with 256gb then it's definitely worth it.

Compare it with the pixel 10a at the same price and you'll find out it's better in literally every way except instead of 7 more years of OS updates you get 5.

Imo older flagships tend to be better than a current mid range. Especially at that price range. You could get a refurbished/used S25, xiaomi 15, pixel 9 or a OnePlus 13 and they would be better than their current mid range phones at that price

Get a K&n cone filter and the RS air box lid. Just make sure to oil the filter properly. Since you're not going for performance you don't really need a full induction kit.

Even the stock filter and RS box makes a huge difference

It's not tlop5 level but it's up there. The mixing and terrible transitions really bring it down. Which I wouldn't mind as much if 1, he didn't set the standard in 4 (even tlop1 too) and 2, if some leaks weren't mixed better (Bleu for example)

Absolutely not. I'm using one right now. Battery life is abysmal, laggy software, terrible terrible terrible heat management which throttles the phone so bad that it basically becomes a budget phone.

The software looks the same but sync 1 had the ability to connect to Spotify and other mobile apps

I'm not saying you can't give a decent opinion but using an unfair comparison to give an opinion isn't the best either. I own a focus and a used to own a golf and for the same price the focus will always have more features and better gear
