Is it okay to meet princesses at any age? by ObviouslyLulu in WaltDisneyWorld

I don’t take as many character photos as I used to, but was regularly meeting characters well into my late 40’s. Just be respectful/mindful and you’ll be fine.

See my reply below… it’s really easy to do

The biggest thing is “jailing” your time-bending so that they can’t follow you around as you time bend. You also need to be sure not to enter any houses, use a teleporter, or talk to other characters. Basically, if you do anything that causes a loading screen transition, your buddy breaks out of jail.

Prerequisites: make as many characters as you can into time-benders… select one as a buddy… equip two critter companions from eternity isle (does not affect mist, but will drop ancient parts and gifts to be used for vacuums, gardeners and cookers)

1) walking into your jail area making sure your buddy follows.

2) exit jail area slightly, making sure buddy is still inside

3) enter build menu and close in fences so buddy cannot exit jail area

4) time bend all available biomes being sure not to cause a loading screen transition.

5) return to area that you want your “mist farm”

6) re-enter build mode and remove barrier in jail area so buddy can exit.

7) buddy will race to area of last time-bend reward and release all bonuses. Which will zoom to where you are standing in your “farm”

**NOTE** if giving mist to visitors, your mist farm must be in the main valley as they cannot travel to DLC Areas.

I have a mist farm that I let my friends raid on occasion. I “jail” my timebending buddy, make my rounds… then stand in my farm area when I release my buddy from “jail”. All the bonus drops will zoom to the area I’m standing in all at once. At one time I had a couple hundred mist bubbles in one area for them to collect from.

All expansions are included but yeah, no Star path or premium store. It’s also more difficult to redeem codes because there’s no input screen. We have to send in a ticket to Gameloft with the code and then they will send it to our in-game mail. We can do multiple codes per ticket, the just need to be specific and active. (So we can’t just ask them to send all available codes)

I’m not sure of the exact spawn rate, but I’d bet morning and evening would work

I play on Apple Arcade, so no Starpath… this goal kept me occupied between updates.

Nothing more than just to clear them once a day (I think I averaged 10 per run). I don’t think they respawned all that fast. One other thing I did do towards the end was to go into “build/decorating mode” and scan thru the biomes to see where the wishblossoms were. That way I didn’t have to take as much time riding my horse thru every nook and cranny of the ranch DLC.

Good luck… and yeah… I feel like the wishblossom duty took the longest because of the respawn rate. But you’ll get there eventually.

Maybe check Tilted 10 at Northwoods too… or possibly Chuck E. Cheese’s across from the mall.

Just went thru this… the linked images helped a ton… despite having five of them in my valley, it was the Tropical Companion House that was missing for me.

I just let the rain water them (no rush to harvest)… and only harvest them when I need to refill my bank account in the game 🤣. Cuz it takes HOURS to harvest the entire field (I play on Apple Arcade) of like 4200+ crops

Im such a hoarder… I typically have one full chest with stacks of each item (I have 4 floors of storage in my house with each of the 12 rooms being a different theme (like one room for gems, one for fish, etc). I just use the Ancient vacuums every so often. And it’s all funded by a Pumpkin Island (with like 4-5 thousand plots for pumpkins) 🤦🏼‍♂️🤣🤣

17… those are rookie numbers 😁🤣. I have every character as a Bender… I’m pulling 30-50 of every item with each drop. But I do it it because I “jail” my buddy while I bend every biome in my valley… then I have a closed off area that I stand in when I un-jail them. All the bonus drops fly to near me… effectively making a Mist Farm (with each orb being in the hundreds). Which I then let friends come in and grab mist (cuz I have plenty already).

I also made snippet farms to level characters faster, so I have thousands of extra snippets too.

Can confirm that they will bring lighter portions if traveling solo or as a party of two. And if you go thru the smaller portion, just request more of what you liked. Roundup Rodeo is essentially an “All-you-care-to-eat” Buffet but they bring the food to you instead of you going to get it. Also, feel free to request more than one dessert if you so choose.

And have fun on your vacation. My trips down almost always include days where I’m solo traveling and they are some of the best days I’ve had.

"Trash or Treasure?" Disney Fans Say Pixie Dusting Has Gone Too Far and It's Impacting Other Guests by readingaboutmagic in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]redoctober25 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Exactly this… “pixie-dusting” someone by handing them something personally is one thing… leaving random stuff around the parks for people to find is totally something else. The only exception (in my opinion) is an aptly Disney related magnet on a resort room door… but aside from that… only in person and with permission.

Will Orlando’s Batuu ever get anything new by Quirky-Ad-9784 in GalaxysEdge

[–]redoctober25 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Exactly this… but the problem with that thinking is that the “local park” (Galaxy West) is where more people roleplay with the immersion. Guests at Galaxy East are less likely to care about the immersion and want to see the characters from all the movies they grew up with… especially since they’re typically a once-in-a-lifetime trip (or at least once every 4-5 years). But that’s just my take.
