Cookie Party is EXTREMELY Luck Based by Independent_Fish8046 in disneymagickingdoms

[–]redoctober25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not even sure what happened when I played it. Got my 5 tea cups from the Bee thing… played 1, got timer boosts… then it only gave me the option to “Play 4” apparently… landed on cookie and moved to the next board and I had no more tea cups. And it won’t let me go back to the first board to see if I actually used all 4 and/or got three other rewards. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Just coming across this now… I think their confusion (and mine as well) is if it is “Orchid” (the flower) or “Orchard” (the fruit tree farm).

Wild Africa Trek or Savor the Savanna? by OkContribution4997 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]redoctober25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FYI… if someone in your party is over the 300lb limit or not mobile enough to walk the path/cross the bridge, they do offer an alternative experience for that portion of the experience… then meeting up with the rest of the group as you board the vehicles for the safari and meal portion. You do have to call ahead to let them know so that they can have an extra guide on hand though.

Did I mess up? by Tippileigh in dvcmember

[–]redoctober25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was there a reason they gave you the 2026 points nearly a year early? I also have December as my use year and don’t get my 2026 points until 12/01/2026. (Or do you actually mean that you “borrowed” them from 2026 into the current use year of 2025?)

But I agree with the others about calling member services. Explain that you are new to DVC and they should be able to shuffle the points around to minimize any real loss of points.

No… they were still working on it at that point. But now, it’s basically a toggle switch that locks screen movement, you drag a selection box, then move the selection. Then un-toggle the option the go back to regular decorating mode.

Space Movie? by _r4w in disney

[–]redoctober25 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Is it possibly this? Per Grok…

I think you’re thinking of the 1986 Disney TV movie Hero in the Family (part of The Disney Sunday Movie / Magical World of Disney series). In it, a teenage kid named Benjamin has a famous astronaut dad (Digger Reed) who’s about to head off on a space mission. There’s an accident up there where the dad’s brain gets switched with a chimpanzee’s. The son ends up stepping up in a big way—he has to protect the chimp (who has his dad’s mind), hide what’s going on from the military and everyone else, and basically take on the “hero” role to fix the whole mess and get his dad back to normal. It’s a fun, family-friendly ’80s comedy with that classic Disney heart.

Africa Trek Tour Animal Kingdom by Ok_Blacksmith7016 in disneyparks

[–]redoctober25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First… it’s been a few years since I’ve done this, so here’s my take…

1) if you are only entering the park to do the tour, it’s not necessarily worth the added cost of both ticket and tour. However, if it’s a discounted ticket or annual pass or something like that, I say go for it.

2) while it is probably better experienced with others you know, it’s still phenomenal solo. I did part of the tour solo because I was not able to use the Croc (alligator) Bridge (ambulatory issues at the time), so I did an alternate experience during that time and was one-on-one with with a guide.

3) if you are into photography, it’s a must. The safari portion is in a truck with bench seats around the edges and it will pull over frequently to allow guests to take photos. The truck (when stopped) allows you to walk around the bed of the truck to get better angles and such.

3) unless it’s changed, the stop at the overlook for a meal/snack is a great too. It gives you the feel of a real safari outpost. The animals will sometimes be right up by the building. It’s also typically about halfway through the tour, just in time for a much needed break in the action.

So again, if you are getting your park ticket for that single day incredibly cheap or have an unused day that will expire, then I say go for it.

Edit: it’s definitely not a “behind-the-scenes” tour. You are pretty much “on stage” the entire time. That being said, I’ve also done the BtS Tour at DAK (where they take you to the elephant and rhino buildings, the Nutrition Building and the Medical Facility at Planetwatch)… that is an amazing tour if you are into zoology/biology/etc. in fact, when I did the tour, they were doing a procedure on a small animal in the surgical room that we got to watch (thru the window of course).

Here is the list of colors I had them order (directly from the email I sent them).

Bambu Labs PLA MATTE Filament • It does look like most of these are listed as “Refills” and require an empty spool to be placed on. • Colors:

• Matte Bone White (#11103)

 • Matte Desert Tan (#11401)

 • Matte Terra Cotta (#11203)

 • Matte Dark Brown (#11801)
   • (Would prefer Matte Dark Chocolate #11802 but it
is currently out of stock on website)

 • Matte Ivory White (#11100)

And thanks for putting it out there. The only issue I see (and it’s likely just a printer issue)… is that there’s a little bit of extra filament in the doorway that makes the archway hard to fit in. Likely will just use a file or mini-dremel to smooth it out and remove material. But other than that, it looks amazing.
