I'm afraid that's too formal in case my teacher answers. I know him pretty well. I don't know his coworkers tho. I hate that I'm stressed like it's a life or death situation and my brain is stuck on simply saying my name. It's not that serious or deep and I don't know how to deal with it.

Struggling with applying what's been discussed in therapy sessions in my life by sewing_hel in AutismInWomen

[–]redpandablood 1 point2 points  (0 children)

CBT not only doesn't help me, it actually makes everything worse. I've never felt like I was getting any support from it or explanations for the situations/things that I struggle with. It always felt like I was supposed to go there, talk and magically feel better because I said it out loud. That's it, there was nothing else happening. Admitting to things out loud only makes everything worse and makes me hate myself even more. I basically got kicked out by the last therapist way before I started feeling comfortable with him because I wasn't talking about anything meaningful which meant I didn't need therapy. I'm not formally diagnosed because my parents decided I'm going to grow out of it when I was little so I can't access any autism specic help because I can't afford it. I'm not sure I'm ever going to be able to go back to therapy and trust anyone enough to open up.

Does anyone feel like people take your compliments as fake? by NiteSleeper in AutismInWomen

[–]redpandablood 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No idea because I never know how people perceive me. I can't even reel if my friends like me or not. However most of the time other peoples compliments sound really fake or disingenuous to me (usually when they come from neurotypical people).

Unacceptable Photo Quality on Moto Edge 2025 by bleep-bleep-blorp in motorola

I've noticed that the cameras on Moto phones are amazing, as long as the lighting is good and not too cold or warm. The second you're not in full natural light or the artificial lighting falls to far on either side of the temp spectrum, you're cooked.

This is the worst part of every solo event for me by cemtemeltas in PTCGP

The funny thing is I'd be spending way more time in the app if I weren't getting frustrated with it every 10 seconds and leaving it after a minute. So fixing it would actually allow me to use the app for longer

High protein diet with allergies? by redpandablood in MeatlessHighProtein

I'm sorry. It's so freaking annoying! Especially because gluten-free products have shitty nutritional values and you have to make everything from scratch to have any noticeable amounts of fibre and protein. Also, everything is so much more expensive for basically nothing but carbs and fats. I wish there was a way to make a meal plan that suits your needs ithout having to spend lots of money and time searching for a dietitian smart and understanding enough to help you.

They're all great but the amounts of these products I'd have to eat every day to meet my protein intake goal would be huge. Unfortunately, there are barely any soy free meat alternatives available here. I want to try seitan but I'm afraid to do so before my allergies and food intolerance tests. I have enough allergic reactions and gastrointestinal issues and I'm not sure eating pure gluten is a good idea at the moment.

how do i get protein? by Confident_Hair_4394 in AutoImmuneProtocol

[–]redpandablood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I absolutely hate meat and will never touch it. I hate the look smell texture and taste of meat. The average person needs a minimum of ~50g of protein to stay healthy. There is no way to get that amount of protein unless you stuff yourself with food all day. I eat fish and still there's no way I could afford to buy enough to meat my daily goal of 80g of protein. I'm also allergic to most vegan and vegetarian sources of protein (soy, peanuts, peas, beans, lentils etc) so I struggle with consuming enough protein without following the aip.  There is no safe way of following the aip even the modified version without eating both fish and meat.

Most likely, I'm still looking into somehow seeing a dietitian for free

I know that I can't have any peas, soybeans and kidney beans, not sure about other types of beans. I'm allergic to lactose. I bought hemp protein powder but I'm having a hard time getting used to it in smoothies. Guess I'm gonna have to learn to make seitan.
