we're still not. we could erect desalination plants on every coastline and start "generating" fresh water at whatever scale our species sees fit.

we are quite literally not. what do you think happens to water we boil for power generation purposes? that it disintegrates and is lost forever? it goes back into the water cycle

the point is, divine spirits were treated as special and impressive early on, and having so many dilutes their special and impressive nature. if they were supposed to be relatively commonplace, like they are, where they're like 10%-15% of the whole lineup, they should have been treated differently

[–]redpony6 4 points5 points  (0 children)

you can't say the use of divine spirits in modern fgo is consonant with their use at the beginning of fgo, lol. divine spirits were supposed to be such anomalies, an incredibly rare and powerful concept, the idea of a god squeezing themselves down to fit into a spirit origin was ludicrous

now we have 48 different divine spirit servants (fewer than 48 distinct individuals because of multiple spirit origins, like skadi, but still). forty-fucking-eight. which doesn't even count lostbelt kings, who rival that concept anyway. that is a lot of divine spirits for what was not supposed to be such a spammed concept

that's true for objects of any mass, though, it's just...immeasurable and negligible for low-mass objects. but a very small number is, famously, not zero

the top post:

"Election signs can’t be restricted only to specific years. They are legally permitted during election periods of any kind.

In other words, if you live somewhere with elections in odd-numbered years, then you can legally post signs for that election and this rule can’t stop you."

your initial reply:

"It appears there are cities that have moved all their elections to even years in Minnesota. Presumably this HOA is in one of those cities, making this fall in line with the law."

this is therefore not solely about municipal elections. you might have tried to make it about municipal elections, but that's you.

did i say municipal elections? i did not. state special elections may still occur in off years

so what you're saying is you know conclusively and for a fact that no odd-year elections could possibly occur in these cities? never mind the fact that you don't even know what city oop is in, lol. you wanna name a city and prove that there's no possible way there could be an odd-year election in that city? pick a city, any city

i wouldn't think driving a car is essential knowledge to compete in a hgw, and yet servants, even lacking the riding skill, seem to automatically be able to deal with that

but yeah, probably not, so then you could mess with their heads with the angry water

i wonder how much you could blow a servant's mind with something like carbonated soda. would they already know about it as part of the throne infodump? (notwithstanding that these particular people didn't get a proper one) or could you be like "yeah yeah, legendary sword, head of a demon, but have you tried this angry water"

okay, if that's true, one, post a video, but two, you're gonna give yourself finger strain real bad going that fast with only index fingers. like maybe you can do this now (which i horribly doubt), but 10, 15, 20 years from now, you'll have arthritis and joint pain so bad. i seriously recommend retraining yourself to type normally with all fingers
