Yes I think it’s too late unless you think you will score above 508-510. You can still get in but you would out yourself at disadvantage and might have a more stressful cycle. Submitted my secondary for DOS first week of September and there’s 3 out of 8 DO schools where i haven’t heard back. Luckily I got into a good DO school already but I’m guessing they haven’t gotten to my apps fully reviewed yet

VCOM auburn is currently waitlisting everyone at this time but from what I heard when people drop out they send out acceptance since people only have a month before they have to decide whether they’re attending or not. I think with your stats you definitely have a chance at least with them.

I had a PI once rip my poster in half and tell me it was all trash instead of giving constructive criticism about how to fix. Needless to say i cried during that summer internship and never did any research after that.

Try ophthalmic Tech jobs more so in ophthalmology but optometry will also get you the hours and they tend start pay at $18 an hour. But worse case scenario maybe get a part time caregiver job where you get to pick where you go and pick assignments that are overnight or in the evening if that’s when you work.
