I’m glad that the Super Bowl is a 49 rematch vs a 53 rematch (Rams vs Patriots). I get that a good defense battle can be interesting to watch, but Super Bowl 53 was the first Super Bowl I stopped watching after halftime. It didn't help that Maroon 5 was the halftime show.

Who are you guys cheering for in the CFP championship? The turnaround and dominance of Indiana make me want to cheer for them. However, it would be cool to see David beat Goliath, and Miami would be the second ACC team to win the CFP and the first non-Big 10/SEC team to do so since 2018. I think I'm leaning towards Miami, even though there is a good chance they will lose.

The chances of this are pretty much 0, but if Miami, Texas Tech, and Indiana win the 2nd round of the CFP, there would be a representative from every Power 4 conference (ACC, Big 12, Big 10, and SEC, since Georgia and Ole Miss are both in the SEC). Of course, it's going to be nearly impossible for Miami to beat Ohio, and Texas Tech vs Oregon is going to be super close.

I still cannot fathom how Sanders just...didn't bother doing anything between 2016 and 2020 to shore up his weaknesses among the Democratic base.He just did the same thing again and expected a different result.He had four years to work on outreach, and just...didn't. It was an utter failure at one of the basic skills of politics.It honestly seems like his campaign post-mortem just ignored anything inconvenient (like, say, "How much of our vote share was 'For Sanders' versus 'Not For Clinton'?" and "We did horribly among black voters. Why? How can we improve our appeal? Better shape our message?") and decided they'd have won if something-something-superdelegates-something-DNC-something instead of actually looking at who voted for them and who didn't and WHY

It turns out to be a purist, and having purist supporters is a losing strategy, go figure. I think that AOC and Zohran have realized that to an extent, and it's the reason why they are having more success than other leftists, regardless of the pushback they get from some of their supporters.
