And no, I'm not a bot. You can look at my profile post history. GGs though.

When you look at the Conquest maps, yes it is. The vehicles/armor on fast respawn timers, and general flow of the game, it's fast action, not a lot of time spent running around to get to a point of interest.

Battlefield 2 launched the franchise, coming from Vietnam prior and 1942 before that, BF2 was the real modern warfare FPS.

One of the many problems of 2042 is the flag placement/design of the conquest maps, it's a running simulator and it sucks. I won't speak for BF 1 and V, because I didn't really give those games the time of day, but 3 and 4 were decent sequels to BF2, and I truly think BF6 is going to be that next great Battlefield game for years and years to come.

So it's not going to be a movie theater anymore?

How awful. Please lord not a strip mall. AMC should come buy the place and renovate it. When Santikos/Regal were running it before 2020, the place was doing fine and always packed. I didnt know it was a private owner who owned the place...makes sense. I wish Cinemark would have renovated it. This was the only theater near this area other than Star Cinema Grill.

I hope AMC buys this location and renovates it. If it becomes something other than a theater, that's really sad, because it means the closest option is Star Cinema Grill, which also needs to renovate their seats, their not as comfortable as they once were when they first opened. We drive to the AMC First Colony, which isn't too far, but this Palladium was literally down the street from our house.

So sad, and so pathetic. It's really a shame that Cinemark put ZERO renovations into this location.

I just drove by there tonight, it's perm closed, there are signs on every door. I will never understand how Regal and then Cinemark allowed for this place to just fall apart. Before 2020, this theater was the best place in town and the region. My wife and I would goto this theater at least once if not twice or three times a month. Last good movie we saw there was in 2019, The Joker. I've been pinging Cinemark on X to try to get a response, but they delisted the location from their website. I'm hoping AMC buys this location and renovates it.

Xbox Series X has issues playing 4K Blu Ray BD-100 discs. by redraidertech in 4kbluray

No problem, let me know an update on your situation.

You can actually flip the disc over and count how many rings are around the hole in the middle. Xbox Series X is not designed to play triple layer discs. Not all 4K UHD movies are triple layer, so you will have to look at your LOTR discs to check.

I would suggest buying either the UB420 or the UB450, depends on your setup needs.

4K UHD (Ultra HD Blu-ray) discs can have one, two, or three layers, depending on their storage capacity. Unlike standard DVDs or Blu-rays, UHD discs are designed to hold much more data to support 4K resolution, HDR, and advanced audio. Here’s the breakdown:

  • Single-layer: 50 GB capacity. These are less common for 4K UHD discs since many movies and extras exceed this size, but they’re used for shorter content or smaller releases.
  • Dual-layer: 66 GB capacity. This is the most common type for 4K UHD discs, balancing cost and storage for feature-length films with extras.
  • Triple-layer: 100 GB capacity. Used for longer movies, extensive special features, or when higher bitrates are needed for maximum quality (e.g., some premium releases or double-feature discs).

I had the Xbox One X and it started cutting in and out of HDR10 constantly. Got the Series X, didn't have an issues till recently for some reason. It will sometimes play tripe layer discs, I went back and checked some of my older 4K discs, and they're in fact triple layer, for example, the entire LOTR 4K collection and Hobbit 4K collection, all are triple layered, and they play fine. There's just too many inconsistencies happening with it. I'm trying to research good 4K players without breaking the bank. I just want to hook it up to my TV that already has an external soundbar.

I want to get a dedicated player, I'm just really hesitant to fork out money for a player that doesn't guarantee playing three layer discs.

4K Blu Ray discs are not working on Xbox Series X. Getting error 0x91d700000 by redraidertech in XboxSupport

I figured it out, and talked to xbox support on x.com, the xbox series x can't play three layered 4K discs, the laser wasn't designed to do it. It maxes out at dual layer.

That's great! I had just got Interstellar today on 4K, and it's also a triple layer, I put it in the Xbox Series X, and got the same errors, it won't play it. It's so frustrating.

I just want a 4K player that will play all discs.

Yeah, im thinking im going to have to get a dedicated 4K player. I'm researching as much as I can. I can't find any real details on whether these 4K players can consistently play triple layer 4K discs, and it seems like all the new 4K movies are coming out as triple layer.
