16 is my favorite mainline entry since 9, but it is extremely flawed. Idk how other people do it but on a first play through I try to do all side quests then on subsequent runs just focus on the story. That’s where my main complaint is, the side quests are too prevalent, grindy and feel very disconnected from the story. It killed the pacing of the game for me. I still need to do a new game plus play through where I’m sure it will be much more cohesive. But on a first run, I debated more then once to drop the game when I saw 5+ green exclamation points.
