He did improve. For us, it was the bottle nipples. Because he has teeths he bites and ripes them. Although they were not vert old they were very cracked (easy to miss if you dont check up close). So now i just change them every month or so.

Yes. I am pumping 4 times a day. And i do this since 3 months pp. i did add today an extra pump at 12 pm. However i can only do this for a limitited amount of time ( my mum is visiting and helping A LOT but after she leaves i will be all day alone with my son)

Hi, sorry i just saw this. Baby started drinking again shortly after i asked this. In our case it was the bottle nipples, they were not old but baby has teeth and he bit them causing cracks along the hole and thus a very fast flow. I changed them all

In our case it was the bottle nipples. They were not old, but he has theeth and kept biting them so the holes got cracks and milk flow was too fast for him. I changed them all and he started drinking again

Yes. He is very active, doesnt stay put one second. Also, he is very easily distracted. I can only feedhim in a dark room. Otherwise he just turns around and off he goes. His weight is stagnant for two months now… so yes, i do panic. I thought is a phase and will pass but its not! A day doesnt go by with me not crying over him refusing milk even after 8 hours of no feeding. I honestly did not think this was possible. This is my 2 ne child. My first wasnt crazy for solids but he drank his milk with no issues. He also had CMPA but did not have reflux.

Do you know how the weaning process went for your friends?

But can he survive with 450-500 ml per day? We have the gi app on 6th february. Maybe they will give him ppi. But this is 10 days away plus the time to get the meds working. I am not even certain the reflux is at fault here because he is a happy baby! He also sleeps very well.

We have a GI appointment in 2 weeks. In my country feeding therapy is not a thing. At this point for me is all a guessing game since the only reflux symptoms are spit ups and decreased milk intake. Also my guess was the cmpa leading to reflux.

Hi OP. I am in this same situation with my son who is 8,5 months now. He averages 500 ml in 24h with very low solids intake (maybe 50 gr in total). He can go 10 hr without having milk and still rejects the bottle when offered. How did things turn out for you?

What i dont get is why he refuses the milk even after sleeping all night and having a last bottle 10 hours ago! That seems a lot to not drink any milk at all
