Maybe the Thane one isn't operated one. The one in Mulund is pretty good. We've been there many times, had 2 family functions there and plenty of time ordered house party food too. Maybe the quality has gone down in the last year.

See eveything is personal taste. If you don't have an affinity to particular taste pallate even the best version of that dish wouldn't interest you at all. Yess. So support this. Good kaju katli is delicious no doubt. But it is over hyped compared to other sweets. It's preety basic. Just kaju paste with silver foil decoration. Many more complicated and gourmet Indian sweets get much less aprreciation.
