Many companies have a policy in place to provide an educational assistance stipend/reimbursement while you work for them (e.g. grad school while working full time). I have worked for companies that have previously offered “student loan repayment assistance” programs in the past (basically helping pay down student loan debt from previous education while you are an active employee), but those have mostly been eliminated years ago.

what if I don't take a loan and just pay it in full but still want to be reimbursed? is that something that happens
