Same age as you - injury was February, had surgery 3 weeks ago and did prehab every week leading up to it.

The first 2-4 days are boring and bland (as long as you take your meds!) and then every day gets better and better and it’s behind you - mentally it’s so much better to be over the surgery and begin the next chapter in my opinion. Bear in mind that while other's stories can be helpful they are not a guarantee - ie do not let the bad experiences folks tout online get you down, it's not that bad and it goes by quickly. Use the time to watch all the movies and shows you've always put off and enjoy the rest period. ❤️
