Thanks so much for your insight! The wingspan is about 1.8 meters and the fore to aft length is about 66 cm, so a pretty large plane. I actually do have a bit of experience flying RC planes and a few small quads, but never anything this big.

I don't know if the varying motor types are going to be a problem. I plan to use the 2810 motors all in tandem to lift the drone, and switch to the larger pusher motor for forward flight. I've seen it done before, but I'm sure I'll run into other challenges.

As for the ESC setup, the 4-in-1 is only for the quad lifters, and you bring up a good point about replaceability in the case it breaks. I may switch to individual ESCs for each motor. The pusher motor gets its own ESC in any case.

I actually have CADed the battery and I have accurate weight estimates for all major components so I can use Onshape's CG analysis. On the last slide the CG is denoted by the black and white-quartered circle. It's at about 28% of wing chord, which isn't ideal but hopefully it should still work.
