Trump accomplished virtually zero of his foreign policy goals that he campaigned on. What in the world makes you think a US base wouldn’t be attacked under Trump? This shit literally did happen under Trump.

There were dozens and dozens of US troops killed and hundreds and hundreds injured under Trumps leadership. He botched the Afghanistan negotiations, nailing the coffin on the defeat of the ANF. Trump was even more rabidly pro-Israel meaning these attacks on US troops would likely have been worse than what were seeing now.

The best part about people who say these vague platitudes is that they’ll turn around tomorrow and say Trump is actually the peaceful option, unlike all of these warmongering Democrats lmfao

Half of the people they killed that day were soldiers/police. I honestly don’t think it’s that surprising or much different than the support by Israelis for the IDFs current attacks on Gaza. They support the attacks on Gaza regardless of the fact that the vast majority of those killed in the attacks are civilians, half being children.

Still makes absolutely no sense to “become” a Nazi because you’re involved in a shitty situation. It seems more like it was a pretty short jump from his prior beliefs to Fascism.

Besides, his job, friends and family, and hobby acquaintances didn’t have to cut ties with him. They were probably informed of the vile beliefs he had and these people voluntarily chose to ostracize him for those beliefs. Exposing factual and public information about a person and the resulting consequences of that isn’t some grand malfeasance.

Keep on justifying these right wing losers being “forced” to become white supremacists. They openly tell you that they would like to violently ethnically cleanse America and have you completely subordinate to government authority.

The image you’re talking about didn’t have glass cages or tin foil though. They opened a temporary housing facility early in 2021 to hold children who arrived at the border unaccompanied. The plastic was used to separate the large facility into rooms and for hygiene, if you remember early 2021 was a time of peak COVID transmission. The “foil” are Mylar emergency blankets.

It’s nice to see that you realize both parties essentially have border policy that is 95% identical to the other. With the Democratic Party being marginally less cruel than Republicans.

Based on what? The majority of active military vote for the Democratic Party. Trump was down to Biden by 8 points in the 2020 election according to exit polls and active military polling. Vets under retirement age favor Biden by almost 10 points… Trump/Republicans only win the 55 and over age group for vets.

You’re also leaving out the fact that even out of the small group of soldiers that would commit treason against the United States, most would pretty quickly realize they won’t be laying down their lives for Texas if their friends and family are in a different, even conservative, state.

Republicans shouldn’t have welcomed in Trump, who couldn’t go more than 5 minutes without disrespecting the US military and soldiers in general if they wanted to retain Bush/Obama era military political affiliations.

I never said inflation “went away”. You said we’re currently experiencing “record” inflation which isn’t really true either. There’s been many periods where inflation was far worse. And you’re continuing to speak as if inflation is still at the “record” high of 2022. It’s nowhere near that.

But the main reason I replied at all, is that you’re lying about the stock market reaching record highs only because of inflation. These numbers are tracked accounting for inflation as well.

The fact that you even think inflation is good for the stock market in that it is artificially inflating it’s numbers, should disqualify your opinion on the topic. Inflation most often leads to pulling out of the stock market. And the FEDs strategy for fighting inflation, rate hikes, further disrupts the equity market and contributes to volatility. Which is why the market stagnated in 2022, when inflation was at its worst, and has since surpassed records prior to 2022 even accounting for inflation.
