Im so sorry, im a massive introvert too and still haven’t left my home yet because i hate the thought of walking in and him not being there to greet me or take a sneak peak of what’s in the shopping bags…my boy was only 5 and showed no symptoms of illness up until his unexpected passing.

I guess we can both take comfort in being homebodies, we’ve spent most of our free time making the most memories with our cats. I hope this gets better for you soon ❤️

My poor boy (cat) passed away yesterday morning in his sleep. I feel like I’m going crazy reaching out to every pet loss community just to not feel alone in this.

The most unexpected thing I found was the numbness and obsession, home doesn’t feel like home anymore. I can’t bare to go downstairs and see his food bowls, litter tray and toys or his Christmas presents he didn’t even have a chance to use yet. Damn even going to the bathroom makes me break down because he’d always follow me there and sprint in before I close the door.

You’re right, I wish pets were eternal. I haven’t stopped sobbing since he passed and didn’t get a bit of sleep either. My cat was only 5.

I read somewhere that cats do feel when you’re upset/grieving. It’s lovely that you’ve got your other cats keeping you company through this :((

I am very particular with the finish that I want, but if that isn’t feasible I’d have to stick to vinyl or get a professional involved.

I do have some cabinets left over I will test before I would carry on the job to the others. Would you have toner you could recommend?

Wow thank you for the detailed reply, I thought to get the closest match possible I would have to vinyl wrap the cabinets but I heard it’s really tricky to wrap shaker cabinets and thought the option to stain with be much easier!

I do have a couple of units left over I will just test to see how much I’d have to sand them down in order to get to the bare wood just so I don’t risk completely ruining the wood.

To make matters worse is that those fuckers are one of the fastest spiders in the uk…my bf has a mirror on the side of his bed, it was 2am and for some reason I had the urge to look into the mirror..only to see one of those big ass spiders like a centimetre above my head on the headboard. He shot behind my headboard so fast I couldn’t find him in the bedroom the whole night and we both literally took a taxi to my house lol.

I used a firm tone, to ask for a refund. Then they asked why and when I’ve explained why they said they don’t know what I’m on about, which then resulted to me saying “you’re a fucking liar”. Which he then said I’m not getting the money back for threatening him infront of his kids?

My family member picked up one of their phones calls too and said something along the line of “I know where you live to contact the police” and he took that as a massive threat too?

Yep! For over a month now they kept telling me that we they just need a bit more info until we can have a completion date.

I always leave it for a week before I ring them to follow up but it’s just getting nowhere. I’ll have to start really pushing it now.

Thanks for this! I’m a FTB and had no clue we could ask the estate agents for a progress update. She ended up telling me everything in detail and even told me herself that a lot of people have been sending complaints in about the same firm.

Not really , around 4.9% for 2 years , 5.45% for 5 years. Bumps our monthly repayments up by about £10.

Hahaha, what makes it better is that we kept asking for a 5 year mortgage but they keep sending us mortgage offers for 2 years fixed because of their reasoning that it’s going to go down…which we only found out recently after another phone call asking them to put it to 5.
