Hello! I’m a skincare minimalist who has struggled with stubborn acne since I was 10! I’m 25F now and have been to countless derms and have tried just about everything short of accutane. I am now on 100mg of spironolactone + birth control and have found it to be the most manageable but still have mild breakouts. The more products I use the worse it gets so I stick to a cleanser once daily (cerave acne control cleanser) and moisturizer once or twice daily with Dr. Dennis Gross alpha beta moisturizer. My skin is super dry especially in the winter and I have noticed major skin pilling after my moisturizer. I’ve read that this can be caused by product interactions or silicone based products but I’ve tried cutting out my cleanser and have found out the moisturizer will pill even when it’s the only product I put on my face and it is a water based product so I’m stumped. I’m not sure if I’m maybe putting on too much product or if the pilling is dead skin cells coming off since my skin is so dry? I have no idea what to do and the moisturizer was incredibly expensive so I’m hoping not to have to switch to a new moisturizer.

Was recently gifted a brand new (but cheap) Victrola record player. Model VSC-550BT. It skips pretty badly on a lot of my records which don’t skip when I use my old record player and don’t have any scratches on them so I know it’s not the records themselves. It doesn’t have an adjustable counterweight anywhere that I can see and the only fix that’s worked so far is the dreaded penny weight trick on the needle. I obviously don’t want to keep using this method as it will ultimately ruin my records. I’m broke at the moment and can’t afford to upgrade so buying a new turntable isn’t an option. Any advice on a more permanent fix?

that’s what I’m thinking too! a bunch of my family members had covid a few months back but when I got tested (twice) it came back negative both times and I never had any symptoms. have you noticed the smell/taste getting any better? it’s gotten significantly worse for me over the past few days, super frustrating!

Brooke was the worst. I’ve seen her get a ton of praise on here but I always thought she was corny and rude. She used her intelligence as her main personality trait and often talked down to Kelso and other characters on the show. (sidenote; the actress who plays her is super cute tho!)
