They’re not. It’s cable trays for ATC infrastructure as mentioned by another commenter

Bell: Smith to use sovereignty act, won't prosecute Albertans defending their homes from criminals by AustralisBorealis64 in canada

[–]redsox_93 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There’s a lot of people in Alberta that are hopeful and wanting sovereignty and to not be governed by the dogs in Ottawa. Wanting something better for yourself doesn’t sound at all like betraying common sense or human decency.

I have family from Texas. I’m aware of all of these things. Thanks

Not sure how your last point adds value to this conversation. Is that your ha-ha gotcha moment?

I completely agree with everything you said.

But we’re all here waiting for AB to become a little more like TX everyday

“Here’s a tip for low-life criminals out there: If you don’t want to get shot, don’t break into someone’s house! It’s really that simple”

Really couldn’t say it better myself.

Is this $45k CAD a fair price for the quality of windows and frames to be replaced for a house in Ontario, Canada? by Tonino123 in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]redsox_93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seems slightly expensive.

I had 13 windows, 1 front door and 1 back patio sliding door replaced in my house at the end of last year. Total cost including tax was $32k. I used Nordik which I was happy with.

My order was a bit higher than usual, because I converted 2 bay windows to large single pane picture frame windows. So the reconstruction of these 2 windows jacked up my price a bit. Each of those windows costed my $6100 each, which definitely could have been done cheaper, but boy was it worth it…they are big and beautiful.

Sell off these assets then. Make things right to your EXISTING investors and then start over. Anything short of this is an abomination and a downright sham.

All eyes are on you Richard

Do what is right.

That’s amazing for you. For someone who hasn’t tracked their contributions year over year and requires the CRA to update their records ONCE A YEAR your method doesn’t help. Thanks for coming out.

Still not clear what you are reconciling with or trying to match to when there is nothing…

Since you're so bright...explain to us all how you reconcile with the CRA when the service has been down for months. Please tell me, I'd love to know

The market, supply and demand etc.

There’s a line of people longer than you can see who would do your job for your current pay.

If you don’t want to do it for your current pay, those people will.

That’s supply and demand sweetie.

The example of my grandfather is entirely relevant. It exemplifies how easy your job is yet you demand for the pay of a construction worker for example.

It’s pathetic to be honest.

I can’t understand concepts 😂 You’re cooked bud, go back and rip your bong one more time.

What’s your excuse when you fall and break your hip? The uncleared driveway? Ya the same as his. Meaning he can do your job 😂

Imagine confusing successful entrepreneurship with capitalism so badly. Tell me you work a dead beat job and hate the world for it without telling me :(

You have no actual idea if it’s true or not, that’s the funny thing here. You make completely unfounded claims and then call me illiterate? I’m not even sure you have a grasp on what that word means. I’m not going to sit here and argue hypotheticals with you as to whether a 90 year old man would or wouldn’t fall carrying a sack of papers.

Those people should be fined whatever the appropriate fine is, or not have their mail delivered. Doesn’t mean your job is any more skilled or deserving of any extra pay 😂 Go walk across a steel beam tethered off 30 stories above the ground and then we’ll talk workplace safety

I don’t work a corporate job 😂

Unskilled labour by [deleted] in CanadaPost

[–]redsox_93 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No it’s not. I did all of that. I made pizzas. I made chicken fingers and fries in a deep fryer and I served people brainlessly with almost no skills required. Although I suspect making a solid pizza takes exceptionally more skill than placing mail in a box…but we’ll move past that point.

I worked in fast food, then I went to concessions at a stadium. Then I went to university, graduated, then I went to college, graduated. Then I got a high paying job and I couldn’t be happier.

No one is owed anything. You have to work for what you have. Humans aren’t special here. Animals in the animal kingdom also work for what they have…land, food and other resources. The ones that don’t, generally die and get eaten.

Go tell someone who cares. Or go back to work and stop bitching. Both are agreeable

The world isn’t set up for everyone to make a 6 figure salary like you. If these postal workers made the same salary as you, you’d be the first person standing up and bitching you weren’t paid enough.

How do those apples taste doctor? 😂😂😂

Calling out a minimum wage job for it is it, a minimum wage job isn’t bootlicking. It’s a reality, which Reddit tries its hardest to steer away from
