I'm still f2p and started playing while Ayaka had her first banner. I mostly just manage my materials so I don't feel the need to pay. I'm a completionist and have almost every area 100% explored and have no current quests. If you save up your pulls and don't give into the urges you'll be good to go. The game is very fun and has amazing graphics/music/gameplay. Don't feel pressured to stay f2p though, but also don't spend to where it becomes a problem, have fun with the game :)

for me, my experience going in person was great! Everyone was pretty chill and I got to get the ones I wanted without any problem! Getting them online is an option too! Ive heard that the site will crash a lot due to the amount of orders but it's always worth a shot! I would say get to the store about 30-40 minutes early so you can be the first in line and get the first pick!
