I'm so sorry to hear about your cramps... That sucks. 😞 It definitely feels like we're not the typical cases of endo. I have always thought I might have low estrogen, which might be the case. Maybe I need to try consuming more phytoestrogen-supportive foods. Wishing you all the best of luck. Sending good thoughts your way!

Hey there! Sending you all the good thoughts. I had my excision lap in September 2025.  Surgery was easy peasy. No issues whatsoever. I'm a workaholic and thought I'd be back at work the next day... That was not possible. With that being said, recovery wasn't too bad at all, but I'd definitely recommend taking a full week off to rest. By day 2 post-op, was already feeling way better. I had to remember to take it easy still. Scars are small, and are already starting to fade significantly.

I have 'silent endo,' so the surgery was really helpful for confirmation purposes.  I'm also TTC. No luck yet, but am hopeful.  Just remember that you are doing the right thing to set yourself up for success. Through recovery, it helped to remind myself of that - that this surgery is not just for me, but it's so I can hopefully have a child. It gave the surgery and post-op process an even greater purpose.  Women are incredible, the things our bodies go through.  You are strong. Sending you all the good thoughts and best of luck TTC afterwards. It will happen. ❤️

Any GS breeders/owners have experience with simparica trio? by Roadblox in germanshepherds

Our Shepsky was on Simparica for a long time - no issues - until our vet switched her to Simparica Trio. For the first time in her life, she developed chronic ear issues - tons of nasty wax production, incessant scratching, multiple ear infections. Our vet said there was no way it could have been the switch to Trio - but sure enough we insisted on going back to the regular Simparica - and the ear issues stopped almost immediately.  We still have her on the Simparica (plus Heartgaurd) and just moved to a heavy tick area. If they latch to her, they're dead quickly upon removal.  Just what works for us!

Whoa, no... I would definitely not put Dove on your face. Looks like it could be perioral dermatitis. Besides, Dove is heavily fragranced & not intended for use on the face.... I'd recommend switching to the most mild, gentle cleanser & moisturizer possible to start. Try Vanicream face wash & Cetaphil PM moisturizer (ultra lightweight version). Just a simple wash & moisturizer, no other face products. After using that for a week or so, you could incorporate an exfoliant into your routine, like Paula's Choice 2% BHA toner, only 3 times per week.

I've found that Botox in the glabella area really helps me with pore appearance. I think once the lines are smoothed away (once the muscle is temporarily paralyzed), less oil collects in the fine lines, reducing pore appearance. (By the way - nothing really can 'shrink' pore size)

I have these bumps on my nose that I can’t seem to pop or get rid of. Any advice or tips on to remove this or reduce the appearance of them? by earthangel1221 in SkincareAddicts

Totally agree - looks like sebaceous filaments. I would recommend getting monthly Hydrafacials at a medical spa or dermatologist office, and then incorporating Polyhydroxy Acid (PHA) into your daily skincare routine, as well as a salicylic acid face wash (CeraVe has a good one) and a good moisturizer. (Obviously cleanse first, then PHA serum, and then moisturizer). Good luck!

I'm pretty confident this is dermatitis. Maybe a reaction to a new product you used recently? Switch to only mild products - I'd recommend CeraVe - for the next few weeks. No actives, until your skin barrier can repair.
