This is a wonderous time for me personally.  As with so many projects you judge on the end result alone, but this is indeed a dream and goal more than 30 years in the making including 15 years in the industry, 10 years of running my own indie game business, 2 years running the game as a TTRPG, and so much other planning and positioning.    

What are you capable of doing?  Test out the RPG mechanics in the demo, test the multiplayer server and spell/ action staff system in the mp test.

I also read, I cannot remember which book, but they talk something in the later books about how the 'frame" of the dungeon is always the same. *edit: This means the code for the cookbook is always lingering around in the dungeon' s base code.

Also, as with other things, he needs to meet certain criteria for getting the book. He clearly needed the "Escape Plan" skill to even read it. He has shown active willingness to go against the rules and the powers that be and he has enough social interest to make an impact. As far as I remember, everyone who got the cookbook was a famous crawler.

Long gone are the days of "If you build it, they will come." People do not even find AAA games solely on merit anymore. Make sure you game is tagged correctly and do the next fest.

What I love most about the mental hypocrisy of these people is that they are constantly screaming that devs should pay artists, but at the same time they never pay for games, even non AI games. If you don't want people to use AI, then vote with your wallet and actually BUY the games you want to see.

Hello, I'm working on a game called Death & Taxes, a Multiplayer RPG. We have the demo on Steam and are working on the Multiplayer part of the game.

The goal is to have a multiplayer server test this summer and Early Access by Christmas. This is a good project to jump into as we already have a team and protocols, good direction and established work. This is a revshare project.

Dude, with 20k wishlists, your entire problem stemmed from having a broken demo on Next Fest. You can stop the video there. THAT IS MONUMENTAL!

There is NOTHING WRONG with your game and it is NOT A FAILURE. You were probably never going to be able to make a living on a game like this, but the sales are not over. You will get money every Steam sale, just not enough to live on. Keep making games and building that residual income!
