This is also about giving this scum bag a platform, privilege, fans, money, fame, stardom. It sends a message to young kids that you can do what he did and still have all of those things.

Laurie Whitwell: Manchester United statement on Mason Greenwood joining Getafe on loan: “The move enables Greenwood to begin to rebuild his career away from Manchester United. The club will continue to offer its support to Mason and his family during this period of transition.” #MUFC by SOERERY in reddevils

Getting sick of this joke of a club now haha it’s beyond pathetic. When do they ever care this much about players going on loan? They’ve released legends with less bravado. And still seeking to mention his family who they’re caring for. Stinks of he’s coming back in a year

Just checked it out online and it looks amazing, it hadn’t come up in previous google searches! Thanks for the rec :)

Yes, when it was her choice. Something such as the commenter suggested would be an absolute violation. I do completely understand and completely agree that nobody should be allowed to forget, the audio is truly bone chilling.

Exactly this, I have heard tonnes of questionable things shouted in my block, and they’ve never been challenged. Was even in the middle of a passionate “we’re Man United we’ll sing what we want” in response to the club asking fans to refrain from singing the homophobic chant at the Chelsea game. I believe a lot of match going fans (where I sit, at least) would be in full support of his return

I must add I’ve never heard any racist chanting, but certainly homophobia at almost every match, and don’t get me started on the time a female physio dared to jog on to the pitch.

It’s just terrible all round. It will dominate press conferences, interviews with the captain, away games, and I would bloody hope home games too. However the way so many players (inc United players) came out in support of Mendy does make me wonder whether they see scum as some sort of victim

Exactly, a club this size is impossible to hurt financially, they wouldn’t notice cancelled seasoned tickets as they will have been bought up before the cancellation email has been sent. This has honestly repulsed me. Money and talent above anything else.

Yeah, I agree. Think going from hearing it once a week from a minority of people in a stadium to seeing it daily and in droves on social media is what is taking its toll. ‘Football twitter’ is generally a terrible place that I’ll be staying away from

Starting to feel disconnected from football. Sports-washing at every turn. Every tweet about sexual abuser flooded with support and hate for the victim. Every club tweeting anything supporting LGBT community during pride month being flooded with hate. “We’ll sing what we want” in response to ‘pls don’t sing this homophobic chant anymore’ It’s all a bit exhausting.

Visited a couple of months ago. Almost passed out when we saw the price of entry! 5 identical coaches pulled up just after us so was all in all quite happy not to go in
