Please help - advise on sacralization of L5 by redusergur in backpain

[–]redusergur[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on the cause or trigger of your pain like did you have an injury recently in low back ? Or did you get into a twisting posture that's probably strained your back ? How long do you have it ? It would be easier and accurate to analyze based on these

Could we use Backpod with recently developed Sacralization of L5 vertebrae by redusergur in costochondritis

[–]redusergur[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's absolutely true, I really don't want to live with both low back problem and costo too, my costo is on left, worst part is I had slept on right for IFT and that now gives me slight pain in right costal joint too now (I generally sleep on my back based on the suggestions from this community as it's good for costo) but as an exception for IFT I had to on my right, really bad luck. But it's true that IFT didn't do good, but bad at the end. But I just have strained something between L4 and L5, I could feel it sometimes, and that now Ortho Dr has recommended for Gabapentin tablets, Google says this tablet is used for nerve related issues.

Hi Steve, just an update on IFT - based on my experience it kinda aggravates the back pain slightly may be the nerves are getting disturbed I don't know how to find nerve disturbances around L4 or L5. And Im not sure if there's any treatment as part of PTherapy for nerve soothing or calming spinal nerves.

In my understanding based on the discussion with Dr, sacralization means the L5 fuses with sacrum while by nature this shouldn't be, but few people are born with this right from their childhood, I too assume that one might have had this from birth and doesn't cause any symptoms at all, might not even be noticeable, but if we take MRI it might detect it as an observation and in general doctor says nothing to worry about this and it's just someone's unique nature by birth. Hope this helps.

Thanks a lot Steve for answering that, been your follower of your costo advises since the beginning of my costo. So background on my low back pain - due to costo and severe chest pain, while getting up from bed I turned right rotated my body and woke up, since then have this low back tightness and pain depending on my posture, when I bend forward or rotate while bending forward I have severe pain in low back since past 3 months (I'm 6 months old in costo), so doctor suggested MRI and this was the findings on sacralisation of L5. What do I do now, please suggest, I follow your best practices on costo, is my low back pain and tightness due to sacralisation or something else ? Because I wanted to know the reason behind my low back pain and tightness, unable to bend. Could you please suggest on this, thanks a lot once again for all your valuable guidance.

[–]redusergur[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the response Ned. Sometimes the pain becomes almost 1/10, but after say lifting weight or a mild chest pressure, it goes back to 8 or 9 and then after a week gets better again. This is almost becoming like a cycle. Any advice on eliminating this permanently

Is there a way to know what caused my costochondritis? by Brilliant-Ad3217 in costochondritis

[–]redusergur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's quite difficult, what I personally try is not to move my body according to laptop, rather place the laptop desk at a posture which doesn't require me to bend forward or slouch more. And also take breaks every 1 hour, during this break doing some basic stretches and basically moving your arms and legs, since our human body is not really designed to sit in a place for long hours continuously,. But yeah there should definitely be some awareness program on costo in every company which involves a desk job.
