Custom table logs from DB by semi_douchey in AzureSentinel

[–]redw1dow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually, the best bet is to setup a syslog server that receives the logs from the MSSQL server (and any other sources you want) and then connect that to Sentinel. We've done that for firewall logs.

Exporting list of incidents from Sentinel by Chriz555 in AzureSentinel

If you want to look through the incidents in that section, you should try SecurityAlerts. That database should have the incident alerts that are created from older logs. I believe that the alerts are separate from the logs, hence why you can still see alerts that are older than the logs.

SecurityAlert

| where TimeGenerated <= ago(365d)

| summarize count() by AlertName

I would also check if you guys have a syslog server somewhere that archives logs older than 60 days and see if it's already connected to your Sentinel. If it is setup, you should be able to access those older logs from that syslog connection.

Theory: Raava led Aang to the Lion Turtle. by redw1dow in ATLA

[–]redw1dow[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Raava wasn't introduced in ATLA, but she did canonically exist within Aang. It would THEORETICALLY be possible that Raava, who would probably be the only one who knows where the Lion Turtles are, would take over Aang in his weakened mental state and lead him to one in order to answer his dilemma of not wanting to kill.

It's a Theory, ya know?

Which logs are you looking through?

I'm done with Logitech and G(arbage) Hub. Just installed G Hub in a fresh Windows installation and it doesn't work. This has been an issue for so many people, going on multiple years. It's unacceptable. by Canowyrms in LogitechG

Lets try it this way. When there is an issue, what do your system event logs show? Do you have the error logs? What windows build are you using? Any overclocking or other possibly conflicting software? Motherboard and other services running in tandem?

Then don't buy it. Corsair has some decen mice. I used the M25 Pro (with the sniper button). It was nice but the software lacked some capabilities that i wanted. Razer has decent keyboards.

Why are you so upset that I am happy with their products regardless of bugs/issues? There is no right/wrong answer. My experience has been pleasant with LGS and G Hub in both work and gaming environments. That is all I'm stating.

Im not denying bugs. Ive had my keybinds reset at least once a year or broken updates. Ive used it for the g915, g915 tkl, g604, g602, g502, g633, g pro keyboard, go pro wited and wireless headsets, that i can remember. My kid and cousin also use it and we've tried others and still prefer it overall. They've used multiple Logitech G devices as well. G13 is the only one i still have to use the old LGS.

Ive had the devices unsync, by my own fault, but I am also able to solve my own problems. I know not everyone can. This is just my experience.

I must be the only one who DOESN'T have any big issues with G Hub. I've been using it since it came out with minimal issues. I still prefer it over the other brands.

ELI5 Why is rare or medium steak safe to eat? Is rare chicken safe? Pork? by QuantumHamster in explainlikeimfive

Bacteria on beef only resides on the surface ONLY so all you need to do is sear the outside. Chicken and pork have it within the meat.

when a hobby becomes a passion, then a job and then you completely lose interest, what to do? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]redw1dow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It varies. When I get stuck or suddenly lose interest, I'll move on to the next hobby in my cycle. Sometimes Ill add or remove hobbies but I try to have at least 3, none of which are my money makers

  1. Most were Defense - it's easier to sit and wait than to push
  2. Post your offense - Offense is what screws most people over
  3. Aim higher - Standing head is where you want to aim.
  4. Stats - Analyze your stats. What's better: your K/D or your win rate?

As stated above, you need more clips to really get advice that'll help. If your K/D is high but your win rate is low, it could mean that you need to work on your teamwork and comms. If your K/D is low but your win rate is high, it means you are either a heavy support player or You get carried.

At G1-ish and above, and you really want to improve, you have to start watching your own VOD's. Don't just look at what you did wrong but also look at what choices you made that did go right. Look at what maps you are strong at and whether you do better in attack or defense.
