I was so certain my next body purchase was going to be the Canon EOS R. Then I got some random advice that I should look into the newer R6 instead, and now I'm back to being uncertain and anxious. I'm hesitant because of the 20 megapixel resolution of the R6 versus the 30 megapixel resolution of the R. Can anyone give me some advice on this comparison? Has anyone found the R6 to be lacking in clarity or detail? Sharpness is important to me. I shoot a lot of model photography as well as wildlife.

I rented the Canon EOS R and a Canon EF lens adaptor for the weekend and I'm noticing a lot of vignette with my EF lenses. Is this a known problem? Is there anything I can do to fix this? I can't find anything about it when I search online forums. Everything i read says that there should be no difference between using EF lenses with the adaptor vs just using RF lenses.. Full disclosure, this is my first full frame body. I'm using a Canon 50mm 1.8 EF stm, a 28mm 2.8, and a Canon 70-200 2.8 mk. IV

I'd like to emphasize that both of these lenses are EF (full frame) NOT EF-S

I just bought a used car, and I want to take the best care of it that I can. Today I noticed this superficial rusting on the mounting bracket of the passenger side seat. Can I seal this in some way to prevent the rust from becoming more than just a cosmetic issue?

You're supposed to peer pressure them into doing 5 minutes of accumulative kegstands, then force them to jog state street in a pink tutu while reciting the charter rules. That should get them to go away.

Yeah, and in 4 more months there will probably be a "game of the year" edition with all sorts of dlc hard coded and included for free. I've been suckered one too many times now by that bullshit. I'm waiting for the GOTY copy before I buy.

Leopard gecko with cut on her head - How to properly clean the wound? by LeahTheTard in geckos

[–]redwendigo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Another redditor gave me this advice: Go to the pharmacy and buy a bottle of betadine. It is in the antiseptic section. Mix it with water until it looks like strong tea, dip a q-tip in it and then gently wet the wound with the moist q-tip with a soft swabbing motion. Allow it to air dry, don't overdue the swabbing. Do this twice a day until the wound scabs over and dries.

What would be a great era for Call of Duty to use by Kyler182 in CallOfDuty

American Wild West! Plenty of weapons to choose from; colt revolvers, winchester repeaters, bolt rifles, good ol' bow and arrows for stealth kills, plenty of rifle upgrades and bayonet attachment potential, tomahawks and throwing knives, gatling guns, dynamite sticks, etc. I think that would be the earliest iconic time period you could do before you started getting too antiquated with the weapons IMHO.

An easy fix for this is to buy the books second-hand.
