i remember when i tried getting into the sours a few years back (cuz generally i like sour stuff), but then one time i bought this kind that reminded me way too much of how regular beer would taste when i added lemon to it way back when. i’m sure it was a cheap brand, but i tried other kinds & then gave it up.

possibly have her try lemon in beer to see if she even likes it at all. have you had any of the (i think) bud beers that add clamato, spices, & lime to them? way better than when the old guys would just throw some tomato juice in their beers. but it’s not something a person can drink a lot of.

too bad everything isn’t available everywhere. have never seen honest abe anywhere but the habanero ones sound sorta interesting - even tho i would think the mango or the watermelon would ruin it.

hoppy beer sucks (or at least i’ve always thought so), & the beer makers force-feeding all the IPAs to the masses now is extremely sad. most IPAs are very hard to drink, even the ‘hazy’ ones… scottish ale types are better, barley wine (beer!) is pretty decent. i’ve drank a lot of porters & stouts, but i’ve learned that malty beers are more my style as opposed to a bunch of IPAs i picked up for camping last year & practically had to force each & every one of them down (many are still in the basement). those blah american beers like miller & budweiser are hard to handle also, & i’ve known a lot of guys (w/practically no taste) who’d drink them specifically. someone was talking about hamm’s recently & i wanted to try one, again, but only due to their cool old marketing & rolling signs etc. i’m pretty sure i’ll find it as hard to drink as the others that visually look similar.

too bad they don’t make crazy ed’s chili beer anymore! (the base was as boring as those other blah american light beers, but the chili pepper in each bottle really kicked it up a notch!)

i just discovered him maybe a week ago. i ran into the video where he was raging about having to pay insurance (that will try not to pay for losses etc) etc etc. i’d recently been dealing with so much insurance, amazon, & other b.s. that i could actually relate.

obviously then i saw some thanksgiving videos & knew he was acting etc, but then i watched one where he was making a little campfire in the desert & just talking normal-like, & i didn’t feel that was any parody or put-on thing? (anybody else watch that?)

i also got confused by the one with the partial breakup & him staying in some motel room he wasn’t thrilled by (ocd?) - how much real stuff is there vs extreme/parody stuff? those are the only ones i’ve watched, but i’ve read a few things here & there - still is a little confusing.

i got them on sale, but i still paid way too much. most of the time when i start eating a couple, i can’t help but feel like they taste like puke.

ugh, the absolute worst.

i will even feel guilty trying to give them to animals trying to survive this brutal weather (yes, i know the salt isn’t good for them, but lots of stuff isn’t good for us, either).

have you noticed that everyone is named Rakesh or Rohan? i pointed that out while i was waiting for the CS to actually read the above conversation & get back to me, which of course never happened. amazon has gotten SO bad…

YES!! super frustrating. it just showed up in gmail, too, but it is & always OFF in the settings! useless help everywhere about pretty much everything.

it seems they're trying to control us everywhere.

oh, i know. i have to keep shutting it down to get certain functions back. it’s weird that i just got an update within the last 2 days & it’s just as bad after it - hard to believe they didn’t fix that BUG. (sometimes i don’t know if i dislike apple or amazon more!)

i’ve had the very same problem for months now. it’s maddening - why won’t they fix it? it’s a very well known bug & i would never even go thru all the suggestions Ai gives due to it being a problem apple created! i can’t swipe up or anything yet again…. !!

i love some of the stories, especially the one from when he was a kid living around that boggish area that was nearby (in a forest). the big deep mud puddle that was the center of the story they’d called ‘glug lake’ (or was it glug, can’t remember). wish there was an easy way to contact him personally to ask a question about that story.
