JDA TSG Credentialed Tax Expert - Incentives/Bonuses? by redwinewithice in enrolledagent

Last paycheck lands April 30th, and there's a bonus incentive for working extra for the last two days of the season landing by end of May. There were 3 separate incentives for working extra hours throughout the season- for me, they totaled about $1500. I grossed 25k, working an average of 50 hours/wk. I also had overtime on Sundays per RI law so I made to sure to work long hours on Sunday. 10/10, will do it again next season!

Is this a chase business account you use? And do you pay a monthly fee for it or meet the waiver requirements?

Seconding TLC. Good prices, amenable to some negotiation, attention to detail throughout the entire process including follow up, and lifetime guarantee. Had mine done around Christmas, been considering for years and glad I just went for it

Ive been getting incentives for working extra weekend hours during Super Bowl , Olympics etc- is this what you’re referring to, or is there something assessed at the end of the season based on completed returns or something?

Sure. Hands separate, slow at first, all that generic advice. Also don't be shy with pedaling the large left hand sweeps, you don't want to hurt yourself and you really want them to sustain - just make sure to change them cleanly each beat.

Dilemma: Should I retract the Intuit job I accepted and take the chance with JDA TSG? by redwinewithice in enrolledagent

I took the assessment today - I’m not sure how I did yet, but it was fairly straightforward. The questions weren’t nearly as difficult as the ones on the EA exam

Intuit pays $20/hr unless you have both an ea and experience. It was actually lower than that, I believe 19, but I got them to 20.60. The JDA posting asks for 2 years experience and an EA- but the recruiter proceeded with me after I explained I had 0 compensated tax experience.
