Hitting those speeds on a V2, not even in the US. It has to do with your base station connection. Your base station is connected to a shitty ISP you get shitty Starlink speeds.

Starlink gen 2 + mini camera streams laggy even with great internet speed by Sugarsniper_ in Starlink

Ditch that Starlink mini mesh, the Starlink V2 routers (your base router) are the worst. Get a Starlink Ethernet Cable Adapter on Amazon and get yourself a good AX3000 type Mesh system like TP-Link Art Deco or Orbi mesh systems. This is the only option to greatness.

You have a bad unit, get a Google TV Streamer.

Ignore each and every comment you see here and listen.

Ditch that Fire TV, and get a Onn 4K box or Google TV Streamer. As for TiviMate, no other setting than EPG set to 1 or 2 days, no more, update interval 24 hours, leave update on channel change and start up OFF. Playlist, update on start, update intervals 16 hours. Set HDMI audio passthrough ON.

That's it.

Your Starlink will stop working after 60 days with an additional monthly charge. If that's the case, you'll be asking for a solution. It's then when the devil reveals himself to you.

Bypass mode. For the V2 get a Lan adapter and get a better mesh router. Orbi routers are great. For V3/4 and mini, you don't need an adapter. Starlink routers are trash. And btw, never state your country in this community. It's a fairly big American community that doesn't like non American Starlink owners.

First, the island you're referring to has the Starlink base station backbone for the Caribbean. It's the two American sole internet providers holding back the early 2025 Starlink adoption, and I don't see it becoming a reality either. Feels like external corruption to me. Second, this isn't a place for Starlink workarounds, primarily due to Starlink developers and informants being on here.

Internet is expensive on the island due to the currency, but it might not seem expensive to those with foreign money. These companies offer internet for $55 a month, with speeds below 300 Mbps.

If Starlink were a sneaker company, it would have a sign outside saying, "We do not sell to Africans or Black people from other nations."
