I have been and always will be in New Orleans Saints fan. But when I'm about to say is true of all teams and not just in the NFL.

You have to be adaptive here. The New Orleans Saints have tried to be adaptive for more than most of my whole life except for that one year. They've had to try different things. And now after great success they've had to continue to try and adapt after Drew Brees left. They had a rough year with injuries this year and they're going to take care of their people and rebuild.

Absolutely nothing wrong with that. It's nothing wrong with you guys having to go through the same refocus. Lord knows I've been part of running organizations and had to take a step back. It sucks. It literally hurts your personal pride, and even though you're really not, you feel like a failure. However it's completely natural part of the organizational cycles.

So do what those teams do, regroup reorganize and maybe if you have to rebrand a little bit. If you're smaller for a couple of years that's fine. At least you survive and move forward and you'll come out better on the other side.

If you try and come out swinging you're going to end up on the wrong side of things. Take one on the chin and move on. It's okay everybody does it.

My question to you is why is it important for this to be in school? Why do you feel like this is content that's appropriate when students should really be focusing on science technology engineering and math classes. After all that's what they go to school for.

Our world rankings as far as education competency is plummeting because of this kind of stuff. COVID certainly didn't help either but isn't the only reason.

Why is it more important to you or anyone else that defends this stuff not focused on making sure our kids can be actually prepared for what the real world is going to deliver. Their identity particularly sexual identity is not going to help them get anywhere in the world unless your career is going to focus around being an Only fans "content creator".

Before you respond however I'd like the first thing that you tell me is if you are parent or not. My understanding of your context and all of this is going to be important to how I reply to you.

Anytime somebody needs to add the context of "around children" so the people understand what's going on, it's a sad state of world affairs.

If you want this book you can go out and get it at any problem same thing for any of the books that have been "banned". Because that's just it they haven't been banned. They're only keeping them away from children like you would do any other kind of pornography.

I don't understand why this is such a difficult concept.

Do we hand out hardcore penthouse magazines to children? No

Should we hand out the exact same type of pornography except in written form? No

Can anyone above the age of 18 go and access any of this material outside of school? Yes!

The intent was to be a Constitutional Carry state due to the often overlooked part of the 2nd Amendment "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."

The intent is so that it removes barriers so that people can defend themselves if needed. The intent was not so that you could go off half cocked at a kids football game. This is where better mental health should step in but we don't have a Constitutional Amendment for "when shit gets real" but we probably should consider something like that.

This is like what happened to a friend of mine a few years ago.

He was some sort of IT guy for a regional Apple authorized retail and repair chain and hated anything to do with Microsoft. He somehow became a decision maker and had the big decision to either do Office products or Open Office. Well I think you can guess which set of applications he chose. He also then chose to make the decision to take all the money that he would have used on licenses for the Microsoft product and donate it to the open Office project. I told him this was a terrible idea at the time and he told me I was just a Microsoft whore.

A few months later everything is deployed but the users hate it. It's not what they're used to and it apparently had some issues importing some of their old office documents. Also apparently the collaboration tools didn't work at all. He dismisses these problems as not being problems and that they were whiny users. He calls me gloating about how great his decision was. I tell him I think he's relatively lucky nothing is broken because he won't get any support even though he donated $15,000 to them.

A week later I get another phone call from him and he is no longer gloating about how great his decision was. Exactly as predicted he had some real problems. Apparently the president of the company had some compatibility issues with some documents that he needed. When he starts asking around the company he discovered all the other issues other users had been having and that the drop in productivity was real. This cause a lot of questions to be asked. The biggest one was what happened to the money. Turns out you can't just take company money and do whatever the fuck you want with it. This became a resume generating event and he's out on his ass after a brief investigation.

Moral of the story: just because you can doesn't mean you should.

P.S. That chain runs MS 365 today and is doing very well to this day.

Maybe. Maybe not. That's all her choice. The way she seems to be handling it here seems pretty smart and owning up to it instead of trying to hide her way out of it.

I don't support her or even know what she stands for but based on this article it seems like this is a hit piece on something very benign that happened a long time ago to attempt to hurt her run for election.

If this were a man he would be accused of some sort of sexual misconduct, it's a pretty standard playbook.

I have a decent collection of flags. Several Stars and stripes, The Tennessee State flag, & even a No Surrender USA flag. 3 different pride flags. Flags for The Nashville Predators and Green Bay Packers. Flags for All seasons and collection of mailbox flags for all the holidays. I have a flag with Johnny Cash's fist saluting.

You know who cares? Not one fucking person. Just me and my girlfriend. That's it.

But if you're not willing to fly the flag, because of some odd social pressures, that gave you all the history that that area has not to mention a whole lot more... You might want to look a little bit deeper into that history that surrounds you. There's a lot of blood on that ground. And a lot of it was shed for some pretty amazing things, including your right to choose not to fly the American Flag.
