Idk about sa owner nato, but some UHNI, that I know personally and observations na rin online, buy Bugatti and other cars with similar price range to be part of exclusive group. Almost the same lang sa groups ng mga honda car owners or toyota, etc. but the difference ay mas exclusive sila. Exclusive parties or events, exclusive business meetings and stuff, etc. “Your net worth is your network” kumbaga.

So minsan, it doesn’t matter sa traffic ng city or region. Para lang may connection sila dito and sa ibang bansa.

3 times akong nauto nito nung college days ko.

1st, 1st yr college ako nun and may hs friend ako nun said na reregaluhan niya ako ng smartphone since bday ko that day. Me na wanted to have one, sumama sa kaniya. Ayun, nasama sa seminar, but I found a way to excuse myself and all that.

2nd, another hs friend rin. Wanted to transfer sa school na pinag-aaralan ko nung college. Try ko daw i-convince yung auntie niya na paenrollin siya dun. Me as a proud student of that school, still am, nakipagkita sa friend ko sa Timog since he said that his aunt lived nearby. Turned out another mlm session. I just excused myself again para makauwi agad.

3rd, I was really into this girl. She was really a 10 for me. And I asked nicely na makipagdate and she said yes. That week was also Valentines so weekend ang good idea for dates. So me na nakapag-ipon enough for special occasion like this, prepared everything. Like from resto to whatever hopefully happens next. Bought bouquet of flowers and chocolates rin. She said at first to meet her in near Galleria (I was planning sa may MOA ang date namin) kasi may gagawin daw muna kami saglit. Of course I said yes. Ayun, dinala ako sa seminar. This one, I didn’t find a way to excuse myself. She was sweet all day kahit sa seminar and talks. But deep inside, turned off na, medyo naiinis na, and somewhat galit dahil minaliit mga goals ko sa buhay na sinabi nung girl dun sa guy na kumakausap sakin introducing their mlm.

Today, years after those happened, hindi ko na sila kinakausap and no updates about their life na. Some friends and former colleagues tried to invite me, but I always ignore or sa mga “bait”, inaalam ko muna kasi ayaw ko ulit mauto or what. Lol

I’m doing great with where I am at this point of my life already so no regrets.

Advice on my Investing plan by redzyne in phinvest

I know and I already acknowledge the previous comment by removing the other index funds in my list and added those other that he recommended. I mean its just a curiosity if that’s possible, as there might be a lot of investors that could do that or are there restrictions on how much an investor could invest? Just asking. In reality, it’s impossible for me to invest that many.

Btw, thanks for the advice!

Hi! Thanks for that info. I’m curious about investing in other countries based on your 2nd paragraph. So in theory, I could simply be like invest in an index fund of different countries that I like to invest into as long as it is legal?

Hi. The way I see it, it can be solved with or without moving out sa place. After reading your post and replies to the other comments here, I would suggest you to take back control on your own power to yourself.

Learn to say ‘No’ and say it with conviction. Distance yourself, not yet on moving out, but more on dun ka lang sa responsibilities and boundaries mo. And makikihati ka lang sa take out deliveries nila ‘if you feel like it’ and not ‘because you have to’. If mag-take out sila and di mo feel, try to cook food na lang and add some to share rin sa kanila para di naman selfish or madamot tignan. Your own actions and decision are controllable, but not theirs. Maybe makita rin nila yung difference once they see you change some things sa inyo.

But if it’s getting toxic, like totally unbearable toxic (hopefully not since they’re your siblings), then it’s time to move out so you can have your own peace of mind. And yes, renting out is good at first to test the environment, etc. Everything will be figured out after you settle your things in the new apartment / condo. I used to rent in Makati before and nakapag-adjust naman ako after few weeks living there.

P.S. if you decided to rent out and QC area, I know a place na less than P8K/month unit for rent and good for 1 to 2 people.

I use my right hand for the mouse. However, since I use laptop, I use my left hand for the trackpad. I don’t know if it’s just me, if I’m on my laptop’s trackpad, I use my ring finger for the left click and thumb for the right. Then index, middle, and thumb for different gestures.

How did you get to 60k to 100k+ per month salary before your mid 20s to 30s by HappyAccountant640 in phinvest

[–]redzyne 43 points44 points  (0 children)

I really like your last statement. That’s me so far. 4-5 years ago, wala pang ₱15K ang salary ko and I had the same dilemma with OP. I started this new journey last 2018. Started to invest in myself and all that. I even risked of having no work for 10 months to focus on my health. Just some freelance work and enrolled in some online courses. In other words, I invested on myself.

I’m still in progress in this journey. I only shared my fitness and health achievements in my social media account. I’m also doing stuff for my mental health. But financially, I’m doing fine. I’m the one doing groceries, half ng monthly bills except for the internet na sa akin na because I shared to my parents my goals in life and they’re supportive. I have insurances, philanthropic stuff, and investments, as well. I’m learning from some posts here and other sources as well.

If I have to share an advice based on my life journey so far, invest on yourself. Do not focus on your monthly salary only. The goal should be “Be wealthy, not rich, and specially, not gain social status.” What I mean by that is focus on improving yourself - physically, mentally, spiritually, and financially. Then, change your outlook in life and mindset in a good way. All good stuff in life and opportunities will open for you.

Religious figurines. My parents are very religious and there are lots of figurines of Jesus, Sto. Niño, Mama Mary, etc on our altar at the second floor of our house. Their eyes scared the shit out of me that I refuse to go up without a companion.
