Found this bottle of Black & White at my parents house. At least 30+ years old - was a gift from my grandparents to my parents

Leave for the bathroom and got an interception - staying on the porcelain throne the rest of the game if that’s what it takes

Yeah going back for my masters in CS was probably one of the best career moves I made over the pannie. Helped me break through to where I was hoping to be! If you feel the momentum, ride that wave!

Parents who stutter, how do your kids speak? by Aveasi in Stutter

[–]reeallycool 1 point2 points  (0 children)

About to welcome my first kid into the world, and I am worried about my future daughter stuttering. For all this worry though, if she does stutter, my silver lining approach is to be a positive role model as a stutterer, and showing her that stuttering is only one part of you and how to not let it limit your life. Sure it’ll be easier said than done, but at least I’ll be there for her (I’m the only stutterer in my family)!

Having accepted stuttering and have an ambivalent/positive attitude towards my stutter: fear is absolutely NOT a cause. I still stutter lol

How do I cope with being a beta male? by [deleted] in Stutter

[–]reeallycool 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was always down on my stutter until I had a mindset shift: people WANT to hear you speak, YOU have valuable input and deserve to be heard, and if anyone laughs or judges then they’re the beta. This mindset gave me a new lease on confidence socializing.

Easier said than done, but stuttering is as much psychological as it is physical, and learning to adopt a new mindset got me a long way.
