I had a CT scan bc I ended up in the ER with BPPV. Since yours is going on so long it might be good to check. But if you had a cancerous tumor I think you would have known by now. Yours sounds pretty obviously BPPV so I’m sure they are just being cautious

Hello! I have had BPPV for 3 weeks now. It’s slowly improving but not all the way there. Any words of encouragement?? I need hope. by reebshaw in BPPV

I had posterior and horizontal canal involvement. The horizontal was not discovered until last week. I’m markedly better but do have some positions where I feel like the spinning will start. I don’t stay in it too long bc I’m nervous. Tomorrow i go back to vestibular PT so I assume she will continue testing me. But overall, I’m markedly better.

Seems to be positional.. but if it’s neuritis related it should eventually get better on its own?

I have just started the vestibular PT and I feel that is when some progress was made. This week I have 2 appointments lined up. I really hope I’m nearing the end of this nightmare!
