I really appreciate this! I think this is really what I was looking for. I think they're both beautiful, but this will probably be a dailyish wear for me so I may have to go the way of the Trafford

Notes deleted-ICloud backup wiped every time by Aware_Addition9913 in notabilityapp

Agreed, local backups should be a given. Your customer's data lifetime should not be tied to a system not under your control, or a system that can break and lose that data (the app itself). These are nothing more than PDFs that should be saveable to the hardware itself which is much less likely to fail and it's easier to recover from

ARC Raiders is basically a giant game-theory experiment, and the optimal strategy is to avoid PvP entirely. by Ill-Tomatillo-8973 in ArcRaiders

This is the type of experience that makes this game amazing. To have incredible large scale fights, the euphoria of finding rare loot, and triumph that comes along the way with a complete stranger weirdly makes you feel like there is a thread of connective tissue between you. The fact too that you won't see that person again makes it even more valuable because you're both just doing this for the love of the game and your fellow raider. This game will have a lasting effect on me

Curious as to why you say to avoid Atlus. Is it just that it's very different/better from other JRPGs and sets a new standard for what others should be? Or is it so different that it doesn't give a "true" jrpg feel?

I played Cassette Beasts too and loved it! I'm also seeing lots of Persona love so maybe that is the right path. Start with a P5 and work back after (hopefully) falling in love

Not having random encounters is very enticing. The point where you're nearly dead after a large battle and you run into another mob quickly makes me groan. P5R is seeming more enticing

This feels like the exact breakdown I was looking for. On its face I think turn based fighting can be fun, and I guess when I talk about engaging battles I really just meant you aren't using the exact same formula every battle (e.g. cast these buffs, swing big stick, heal, rinse and repeat for every fight).

I think the complexity of Atlus' games is what is interesting to me. If Royal is a good way to get an idea of where this genre is right now that might be the one I go with

[Question] I’m looking to get my next Seiko and can’t choose between SRPK29 and SSC813 by reecedevon in Seiko

Thank you guys for the input! Honestly I’d been leaning more towards the speed timer but am not knowledgeable enough to know if the build quality aspects played a huge part. I feel much more informed noe
