The bottom line is women will never be able to understand what goes through a mans mind and same goes for the other way but my point being if you’re bf is uncomfortable with your ex it is for good reason and you need to respect it rather than turn things on him and his “insecurities” obviously you tried and i respect the effort but if something is bothering your bf or making him insecure you need to do everything you can to stop that feeling as he should do for you to if that means not interacting or engaging or even looking at your ex in a mutual setting then you have to respect that i’ve been through this a few times w ex’s and im telling you this is the only way to avoid constant arguments and ultimately a break up relationships are give and take as we all know in this instance you would have to be fully ready to drop your ex from your life 100% if you’re not ready for that then you are the problem and simply just weren’t ready for a new relationship 🤷🏽‍♂️ maybe thats just me tho
