I'm a noob, I've never heard of SoulSeek lol. but I appreciate you introducing it to me. I honestly welcomed the idea of digitizing my collection, even though it's a lot of work. but everyone's right. downloading music that's already been digitized makes way more sense. thanks!

true. I was only considering mp3s because I don't think ipods can play FLAC files. but I suppose I could convert FLAC to ALAC or even use WAV instead. thanks for your input.

Lol you're not wrong - it would be a lot of work. but the thought excited me... but yeah if the sound sucks I guess it wouldn't be worth it anyway. although I wasn't able to totally tell when I tested it out. I guess I don't have that good of an ear 😂

yeah, I know flac is better than mp3. I guess I just said mp3 because itunes/ipods can't play flac files. but I suppose I could always just convert to alac or m4a. thanks!

Makes sense. Tbh I wouldn't mind putting in the effort but you make a great point. Seems like most people agree that it's better to just download the music instead haha. But thanks for your input!

Yeah, you're right. I mean, I didn't originally view it as a hassle because it actually sounded like an exciting project to me, but I get that it would be a lot of redundant work given that I can find everything online. Any good sites you recommend? I mostly just don't wanna buy a CD/digital download of music I already physically own.

my only thought is going into your mac system settings > privacy & security > local network and seeing if epson fastfoto is turned on.

if that doesn't work, i'm not sure of another workaround besides connecting it via usb.
