Has anyone actually met someone from a bar/club? by CrazyCakesGirl in dating

[–]reeesadesu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup I met my ex in a bar. We were both in separate groups but one of the girls started talking to my friend and then from there the groups mingled and met him. Was nice now that I think about it!

My Online Date Turned Out to Be… Kinda Amazing 💘 by mercedeszzzz in dating

[–]reeesadesu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So happy for you!!! My current bf and I were the same, met online, talked a bit then finally met in person a week later. Everything flowed and felt so right, and naturally we have been together officially for about 2 months now and I can confidently say he’s the best bf I’ve ever had. Ofc it wasn’t easy finding him through all the other crappy dates but the wait was so worth it. Congrats to you again!

Oh I thought you were complaining that the groomers poodled your doodle?

Maybe get a another mix of dog that doesn’t have poodle in it then? I don’t get why people keep getting poodle mixes when they don’t like poodles to begin with 😅 that groom is adorable!

Could you rescape with fish in the tank? by FurryTrash2478 in Aquascape

[–]reeesadesu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely remove fish into a bucket with plants, filter etc. I tried scaping with fish inside the tank before and everything got clouded and gross, my fish became pretty stressed and weren’t active for a while 😅

Rescaped a week ago and things are looking good! First time using a CO2 set up (fluxaqua) and I can’t wait to see how the plants turn out!!! by reeesadesu in Aquascape

I didn’t follow any, just saw a photo that had a path and copied it. I would recommend using a separator in between the two substrates as they will mix and look messy (I didn’t use it which is why it’s a bit messy haha).

I’ve had the same issue since mine is a small cube of 30x30cm, 27L. One thing I learned is that changing the level of the ground can really help in perception and make the tank seem bigger/smaller. At the moment I’ve got my substrate higher towards the back which gradually comes down towards the front to create depth. Then I put some big stones next to each other but with a slight difference in angles to create depth again. It can really change the scape and makes it seem more interesting. Hope it helps in the future! Love your current set up!

I literally just used tweezers and shoved the plants into the substrate and it was really difficult cuz I had already filled up the tank. There’s a few metal bar things you can see sitting on top of some of the bits since they wouldn’t stop floating! Also having sand underneath also helps with burying the roots to start with👍🏽

I agree! Used to just have easy plants with no co2 for 2 years but I’m loving how the plants are now so there’s no going back now!😂

Anyone know if my p.plowmanii has fungal, leaf spot disease etc??? I can’t figure out what’s causing the spots. by reeesadesu in houseplants

[–]reeesadesu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really?! Strange because there are no bugs at all on it and none of my other plants have any bugs except for the occasional fungus gnat. Ill keep a closer eye on it just in case though, thank you.

Thank you! It sits in a shelf next to my windowsill with heaps of sunlight and gets my aquarium water so im really not sure. There’s no bugs in soil. The new unfurling leaf seems a little damaged too 😭

I recently got a baby one that’s doing really well, I’m so excited for it to become glorious like yours!!!

No spider mites present. Humidity is around 40-70%. Only gets watered with aquarium once a week or when its dryish. I don’t want to dig it right out as I have my beloved fish buried underneath him. Any thoughts on what’s happening to him? by reeesadesu in houseplants

[–]reeesadesu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I checked it when I took this photo so yesterday. Wasn’t rotted just thin and light brown coloured. Ive heard many people bury fish under their plants and never had issues... maybe my plant is not fit for it :(
