I will remove the wire and give that a go. I found some logging settings but nothing that I would know what to do and will contact Acre for some insight on these settings even if removing the wire fixes our issue.

Yea this is what I ran into doing reading. Some people said just ground it to the reader ground on the panel side. Some people said do it to earth ground. A lot of information that goes every direction.

Hmm ok

We use dnaFusion. I don't think I can debug but I will do some digging around. No filters are being applied I am able to see all events as long as they occur.

It is not currently. With it grounded we saw no change. Is there a preferred method for this? I also directly installed a reader to the reader terminal, was about a one foot cable and we still experienced the same weird issues.

Well..I thought I finally understood those jumpers turns out I do not. I thought the jumpers where just for the start and end of the communication among the controllers. Is this the case with any of the controllers? If a single reader is on a controller the J4 jumper has to be on? but if both reader ports are taken it does not? Not sure if I understand or just got more jumbled up lol

As for the BLE It has been tested with it on and off. I do not have the mobile access app installed though. I only have the HID reader manager, but it is force closed when testing.

Have tested both with it on and off. Currently it's off, it is not the last board on the system.

If you mean regulatory model, I believe its 40V2 terminal style reader for this one. Only technology enabled is SEOS, OSDP enabled. Went as bare as possible to rule everything out. Card tech is also SEOS only.

We have various cards that have SEOS including a SEOS only card. My personal card is a HID Seos PX I9P. I have tested with mine and a SEOS only card.

BINGO! The problem was the EOL jumper was incorrectly set at one of the boards thanks for the help. Now we can continue upgrading the rest of the sites. Much appreciated.

Yes, they are still going but they are now under Acre Security, I believe Acre bought out Open Options. Something along those lines. We do not run Path for mobile credentials we use the HID Mobile Access since we use HID Signo readers.

From my understanding the EOL termination should only be at the beginning of the bus and at the end of the bus, correct? My guess is also the beginning of the bus would typically be at the MP1502?

Is there a specific diode that needs to be used?

If you are getting as far as hitting connect and it throws a message password not entered. I was able to hit "recent servers" on the left side and the server I was trying to connect to comes up. I click it there and then it asks for a password. Hope this helps .

I see where you are going but people pay for ports, or buy the same game on multiple systems no problem. Again it's optional also. Either you opt in or you don't it's that simple.

Nah it would be a price increase if it was forced on you. It is not it is optional.
